So beautiful and it has staying power! That’s what I love about Karl’s creations! The blouse is gorgeous too and goes so well with the jacket! You look great !
Today I wore my favorite jacket that I managed to buy on sale, it’s lesage and it was very expensive by the standards back then.
Updated with Dior pants.

Tried it today - runs really big !
Here’s a photo- was looking at this bag too (bought a different bag) but you can see it goes up just above my knee and sleeves went to my finger tips (and I have long arms !) for reference I’m just shy of 5’8” and wear a 36 or 38 on Chanel
This was a 38.
The black silk fabric is lush and there are tiny tone on tone CCs Patterned in the silk , white French cuffs with buttons - it’s on the formal side - too dressy for work IMO
I’d say size down if you are ordering it

Thanks so much!! You look great in it. I saw it at my boutique but it was a small size and am waiting for it to come in for me.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated as I see it being a straight cut and I am a lady with forms  so need to see how I can make it work (around hips mainly).
I am imagining also with one of the thinner chain or elasticated leather belts.
The sleeves seem to be super long even on the model in the lookbook... thankfully they can be fixed

i love this jacket in itself and how it looks on you!- if possible to have the reference number for it as I might in the future go looking for it. I doubt there will be any left now. I think it was the Paris Hamburg collection - is that right?

Thank you!
Thank you! Yes, Hamburg collection.
Here it is.
Have in mind it runs small, I had to size up.

50s F this morning...debut of my Metiers jacket:

Just curious, which type of scarves work well with Chanel jackets in the winter? I have tons of Hermes scarves and shawls, but they are all very colorful with graphics...I found the latest Dior offerings very easy to pair with, because you can tie them to show black/white colors only. But I'm looking for more options...any ideas?

I’ve actually brought my Chanel jackets into Hermès to choose scarves for them
Maybe lay out your existing scarves and shawls with this jacket to see what may work ? You could be pleasantly surprised :-)

+1 with @TankerToad

if you do pattern on pattern

1. Hermes 140 ex libris noir naturale or jersey black white Bolduc au
2. louis Vuitton silk cashmere leopard or variation
3. dolce and gab silk charmeuse leopard (very different rhan LV) or a floral
4. etro or LP paisley (though I think that might look mature)
5. chanel and Hermes at one point did some strong graphic prints

But, I tend to wear the same color palette (and use leopard as a neutral, except for valentino leopard which IMO is a very winter white type of person) so my accessories tend to mix

excellent advice. thank you :)

This is one thing I can experiment with...I don't want to complicate my outfits but I do have an hermes shawl with pink colorway. Once I have access to my closet (rolling eyes) I'll be able to experiment.

Beautiful tweed! Chanel scarfs are also very nice, a bit lighter weight than H. I have couple in black and cream that are quite neutral. There are also some that go particularly well with the outfits- a bit thicker and not always very soft.
I also wear my H scarfs with chanel jackets.
I’m attaching some examples,
The last 3 are H shawls

Great job Ari! It is difficult to pair the very busy patterns of some Hermes scarves and shawls. I have found that patterns with more spacing, i.e., larger areas of solids, are easier to pair. Sometimes I get surprises and find an Etro or Missoni can work too. I found the Brandebourgs’ shawl the easiest to wear. I have it in ecru and black, and blue and black.

I'm drooling over your collection Ari. Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you so much for your ideas and inspirations!
