I saw this picture on Instagram. The Peter Pan collar one is such an interesting colour. I have both too, got them both in 36 as it was the only available size and fits me perfectly and wore the embossed one a lot even when the weather was cooler with a cropped cardigan underneath for layering. The Peter Pan collar one is more feminine and statement piece in comparison I think. I got both mainly because on average I wore the embossed denim almost weekly and I wanted to rotate it. If anyone missed out on the embossed version I highly recommend this Peter Pan one. I agree that if I were to pick one I would still pick the embossed version, it’s more versatile with the casual collar.@TankerToad @lulilu @m_ichele @911snowball @Brooklynite
I actually bought both of these denim jackets! TBH they are a very similar cut overall (fit & pockets especially). The differences in the second are: peter pan collar, the print/color, extra puff/dropped shoulder on the shoulder, and the hardware. But the Arts & Metiers one is ~15% more expensive, even though it's just two collections later and pretty identical otherwise ($4100 vs $3550).
The light blue is a 42 and the black is a 40. Both 40 and 42 fit about the same, the fit is boxyI think I tried the black on in a 38 and it was fine too, but 40 will allow me to wear thicker clothes inside.
I loved the first jacket so much I tried this second one on for fun. I kind of regretted it right afterwards bc the were so similar... but surprisingly I've been wearing both equally and don't find them that similar anymore when putting together outfits (mostly because of the color). If I had to pick one though it would be the blue one since the black's collar is more cutesy and harder to pair. But now I'm happy to have both
Excuse my Canadian tuxedo bc it's just whatever I had on and threw on the jacket to reply to your posts!

I didn’t go for the more fitted denim jacket this season either as it would take too much effort to think about how to pair it. I thought the washed vintage colour was too dull on my complexion mainly. It felt like an open shirt but I’ve seen some nice modelling photos from other members.
