I fall into this category, I’m new to Chanel jackets, would you ladies recommend this or wait? I don’t know if I like those 2 buttons on the chest pockets. Isn’t it cleaner to have no pockets/buttons on the chest area?
Reason I’ve held off buying one is every jacket I’ve tried always made me look older. I bought lots of Chanel denim jackets though. Even the classic knitted cardigan makes me look old and formal too.
If you think it’s makes you look older then don’t get it. There’s plenty of time later to dress differently. It’s how you mix it up, your style and how you feel about it. It comes across. When I was younger I had to dress in a much more matured style due to my profession and also because I was mistaken for a student much of the time. Now I can wear whatever I want.

Hey, do you happen to have the item ref. number, this is the version I wanted and knew they’d end up making. Too cute!
Here’s the info from the website !! It is very cute !!!!

Yes the legs in that look are super exposed. Def tights :) I think that dress which I love is going to need to be paired with tights to wear in public for me. I am afraid I do not have those legs ! Haha.

Thanks SB. I have seen pics of the white in the long sleeve version. It would be so cute. I am glad to hear it is not itchy. I bet cute w jeans  my friend tried it and reported it was quite cropped.

That's what my SA said, too. Not itchy and cropped. It doesn't look that cropped to me but who knows. I am not a fan of cropped on me so that's making me feel better. On the other hand, because I am short, often cropped things fit me as normal.

I have a lot of chanel jackets which I wear with jeans, shorts and everything in between, but this year, my DH was like, Dior RTW is a younger and cuter. So I know what you mean. So, going forward, I’m buying mainly chanel knits Bc they are really flattering and can be less serious. You have to cherry pick which ones are right for you! I used to buy chanel denim, but then found I preferred dolce and gabbana, and now Dior denim. JMO

i spent the week in Rome, and there was a cute magenta cropped boucle jacket and match8ng pants. . . Does anyone have it Or have IRL modeling pics?

I went in to check out some of the new collection today and also re-try the coral jacket because I couldn’t stop thinking about it… thought I would share.

first off this fuzzy jacket is quite cozy, with cute working turn lock buttons, but not a fan of the $4550 price tag.

the skirt is quite comfy, this is actually two sizes down from my usual. It has a matching pullover but is a lot of look.

This cropped jacket is a nice lightweight tweed with a cute hot pink lining, but a tad too cropped for me. Price is reasonable around $5600

This long jacket has a beautiful tweed but not practical for me.

And finally, I came back for this one and ended up taking it home!

I love the coral jacket unexpectedly particularly of the shoulder and cut, similar to 20c white jacket and 21a white embossed jacket I got, all fits perfectly and comfortable without alteration. It's light weight like a cardigan and reasonably priced.

Have you seen a Dior RTW thread on the Purseblog? I've been intrigued by your posts, but I don't have time to visit stores b/w work and kids. Their website has limited styles, so I wonder what other resources I can utilize...

Below are the threads on Dior RTW. Not to get too far off topic, but I recently purchased a couple of RTW items from Dior - they very wearable, esp while working remote now with very few in office meetings. The experience was also spectacular, although I worked with a SA out of town while traveling (Vegas), who I have known for years, as I met her while she was at Prada at the Crystals. I have to admit it was refreshing not to have to deal with the Chanel drama, and she offered me consignment out of the gate and also offered me the opportunity to reserve items. Sure the history helped. I do find the Dior RTW fun, wearable, easier to maintain...TBH it isn't as beautiful as the Chanel aesthetic IMO, but I really appreciate it for what it is.

Here are the threads:

Dior RTW

24S Dior RTW - 24S is owned by LVMH so pretty legit, there are 10% codes floating around, The Heated Mess had one on her story just over the last few days. The pricing is similar on some items, but the discount code is a nice perk and not something that would be seen on the main Dior, Fendi, or even LV sites.

Did you like the long sleeved one? I didn't like the sleeves. I don't like those bell sleeves.
