I agree with Ari. I don't think the off the shoulder jacket is particularly versatile if that's what you're looking for. I don't like it with a shirt underneath. I think it should be worn very fitted with a dramatic flowing skirt, a precious necklace, and heels for special events. I would wear my hair up to emphasize the neckline. Very regal look. If I were in the market for a special event piece, this would be on my short list.I tried this jacket and loved the fit. Unfortunately I think this is a special occasion jacket. I don’t think I can pull off the shirt under it, for some reason. Yes, one can wear it with jeans, but then again it still doesn’t look casual to me. I don’t think the fabric is fragile.

Love your look. Is your jacket from last year? Not sure if it's still available.You may find you prefer a cropped jacket in terms of where it hits on your body.
