Thank you for your input !Hi, I don't have a picture in natural daylight (yet) but I bought it this weekend and to me it looks like a deep dark red, no brown undertones (in my eyes!). If I have the opportunity I'll try to make a picture in daylight. I doubted a lot between the red & burgundy, but decided to go with the burgundy as this would fit my wardrobe better & I was sure to be able to wear in winter too. The red is gorgeous, but would have been a summer-only bag for me.
Thank you! I want a deep red and that’s what it looks like in some pics. But the lighting really changes the colours of both the 19b red and 19 b burgundy.Hi, the 19B burgundy looks brownish in boutique lighting, but not under natural light (and it looks also quite brownish when you put it next to a 19B red in comparison). I will post a photo of mine in different lighting to show you the color. It's not that dark, it's obviously not a red, but it's not darker or more brown than a burgundy.
Unfortunately not a lot to choose from at my local boutique. No white, beige or navy in classic flaps (though I had already seen some of these at another boutique 2 weeks ago).
Was set on burgundy but was underwhelmed. Too muted for me and I already have similar coloured bags and had hoped it would be a bit more purple/raspberry toned. The grey was nice but would have preferred a Small or Medium in lamb vs. the Mini which will rub against my clothes all of the time. Was surprised by the red which I have on hold until tomorrow. A very fresh red but with the slightest orange tint to my eyes. Beautiful nonetheless, but wonder if I would have preferred silver hardware as the gold makes it a tad bit too classic for me (I usually only wear ruthenium or silver).
Maybe I will hold out for the upcoming Classics for Cruise instead.

I wonder if it has to do with the type of caviar. The current version for 19B (red, burgundy) is shinier and thinner (e.g. as 18B) and maybe the edge stitching will cause creases around the stitching. I had seen this slightly happening with a couple of the 19S bags which is why I didn’t buy any. However, 19S felt thicker and a bit sturdier, so maybe Chanel decided to go for edge stitching for that particular collection. If I recall correctly, matte caviar (strong, sturdy, but plasticky) usually came with edge stitching in the past.I noticed that ml classic in navy has double stitched but the red and burgundy don't. I am wondering if there is any difference in term of durability? Does anyone one know or experience the issue? I also noticed that the diamonds are puffier on the single stitch.
Yes, they grey is lovely but unfortunately none of the caviar options appeal to me. Would have preferred ruthenium hardware for the boy.The grey seems to fit your description of what you want!
Did you check the current grey boy?
Hey all, does anyone know if the mini lambskins come in beige this time? and if the burgundy ones only come in shw? Thanks!
Oh I also feel the same .. I love 19B shiny caviar but prefer aged gold hw on burgundyThank you for the comparison!
I have the 18C burgundy medium flap and was wondering about the 19B burgundy.
What I love about the 18C one is the antique gold hardware.
Hi! Did you happen to check if there were any white caviar WOC?19b red to me is simply gorgeous! The caviar is also nice and shiny. Just couldn’t resist it, picked up a woc and a flat card holder!
IMO this instagram page looks super counterfeit ♀️Hi guys,
