Hi, the 19B burgundy looks brownish in boutique lighting, but not under natural light (and it looks also quite brownish when you put it next to a 19B red in comparison). I will post a photo of mine in different lighting to show you the color. It's not that dark, it's obviously not a red, but it's not darker or more brown than a burgundy.

Thanks! I do like the 19B red though, but i just thought that it's maybe more suited for a smaller bag (a WOC, or a mini). Having it in medium size would pretty much means that it's a summer only bag.

I have the 18C burgundy medium flap and was wondering about the 19B burgundy.

What I love about the 18C one is the antique gold hardware.

Thats actually one of the reasons that I am not getting this bag, i think it looks a little too tomato like as others have said and i'd love to wait for a better red that suites my taste. I also didnt like the "plastic" sheen to these bags in the larger sizes. I did get a burgundy WOC as i think it's a good piece for the winter and i am a little less worry about jeans color transfer on that, was not as brown undertones as other burgundys! Will still hold tight for my perfect red!

You made absolutely the wise decision! And you are totally right about the "plastic" sheen. I noticed it as well just couldn't find the word to describe it!

Unfortunately not a lot to choose from at my local boutique. No white, beige or navy in classic flaps (though I had already seen some of these at another boutique 2 weeks ago).

Was set on burgundy but was underwhelmed. Too muted for me and I already have similar coloured bags and had hoped it would be a bit more purple/raspberry toned. The grey was nice but would have preferred a Small or Medium in lamb vs. the Mini which will rub against my clothes all of the time. Was surprised by the red which I have on hold until tomorrow. A very fresh red but with the slightest orange tint to my eyes. Beautiful nonetheless, but wonder if I would have preferred silver hardware as the gold makes it a tad bit too classic for me (I usually only wear ruthenium or silver).

Maybe I will hold out for the upcoming Classics for Cruise instead.

Exactly! In some lighting the burgundy looks like a deep dark red and in other lighting it’s looks very dark with brown undertones. Yes please if you can I would still like to see a pic in sunlight. Congrats on your bag!
