Chanel pre-fall 19B

Oh no! I haven't seen this with any of my Chanels, but mine are lamb. Is this a common problem with this season's caviar? I was thinking about purchasing one before the price increase.

I think so for this season. Some people may say it’s plasticky cause there’s a sheen to it (whatever coating they use over the caviar). I honestly don’t mind it, but it is softer than regular caviar on the flaps.

How is this flap holding up? Hating myself for not buying it at the time!

It’s great! I love it more and more each time I carry it. I still love the beige clair and at some point I’ll probably get it, but for the time being, I’m enjoying the 19B beige

19A and 19B reds are extremely similar. The biggest difference is in the caviar. 19B is shiny, giving it a slightly more saturated color. Here’s 19A coco handle compared to 19B card holder and tote

Oh I also feel the same .. I love 19B shiny caviar but prefer aged gold hw on burgundy

Omg I’m so glad I read this comment. The last day I can return my burgundy is tomorrow and I’ve been trying to decide and this nailed it! I love the color and the caviar but the neutral hw just doesn’t do it for me. I would love last years version with aged gold so I’m going to return and hope for the best next year. I can’t thank you enough for pointing this out!

Here are a few pics of Beige Claire and 19B beige. Pics taken in front of a bright window with indirect sunlight. Love them both!!

Did your SA ever tell you what leather your 19B beige is? I know its caviar but did he tell you if its pebbled calfskin or lambskin? Do you notice the soft squishiness on your 19B beige compared to your beige claire which is for sure pebbled calf skin.
