Hi, can i get VAT refund in cash at Rome airport or is there any VAT refund office near Chanel boutique at Rome? cos I do not want to get refund to my credit card cos wait too long like 4 months and need to sent email and checked.

Hi Everyone. I'm going to Rome, Venice and Italy this fall, after the price increase unfortunately. I am looking to purchase the medium caviar in GHW black. I know that's a popular classic piece, does anyone have tips about how to check if they're in stock? Should I call the Paris store to ask if they're in stock? The last thing I would want is to leave without one because it's not available.. I also heard they're more in stock in Italy.. even with the smaller VAT?

Just bought a classic flap m/l with SHW from Florence. I went to Rome, Venice twice last month, but not Milano. However, according to the SA Milano always has the best stock, the store is much bigger compare to Rome and Venice as well. The boutique in Florence is nice but all boutiques has low stock since the price increase in general. The SA in Rome is rude and unhelpful, and the store is crowded. If you plan to stay in Italy for a wile, every Thursday is the shipment day. Hope the information helped.

However, you can find Chanel in Florence, Venice and Palermo. If you want to contact boutiques use the email address I gave you. Rather than write "milano" write "roma" or "torino" or "venezia" or "firenze" or "palermo". Usually within a couple of days they give an answer and if you're interested can ask to reserve the bag for 48 hours. I know that new things usually come in boutiques on Friday!

I actually had a connection in London and had read that I would need to get the customs stamp there as my last point in the EU, but there was no line at Customs in Rome when I got there around 5am so I figured I'd try. He was fine with stamping it as long as I had the boarding pass from London to a non-EU destination to show him.

Do you remember his/her name? I'll probably call them for stock availability before visiting the store. Do you know if they would hold the bag for you and for how long?
