This is what i can rem:
Venice- Yes, ask for the main shopping area where there are Balenciaga, Hermes etc etc. Chanel is 2 levels, just next to Hermes. Easily spotted.
Rome- Yes, at the Spanish Steps where all brands are lined both sides of the streets.
Florence- Its just at the famous Michaelango huge statue outside the Musuem (cannot recall the name), ask your concierge, its very easy to get there.:smile1:

Might be a silly question but does Florence boutique take American Express? I'm going to get my dream bag this week! The SA is so lovely that she's going to reserve the bag for 3 days for me hurray!

Yes! Actually I've been in touch with the SA in Florence for a while and they are so lovely! They told me that I could check with them about the stock level like 10 days before I arrive in Florence. And they are happy to reserve the bags for you as long as you tell them your arrival date. I'm going to Florence tomorrow to get my dream bag! :-D

Thanks!! I got my dream bag at last and a pair of boots to go with it!

Did you get your tax refund form in Florence too? If so, did they also give you an "official" receipt like this?

I'm a bit confused because I did my Burberry Global Blue tax refund with the tax form and the receipt in Italy last year.

I'm new at posting here so hopefully I did the attachment right--it's a picture of my VAT receipt (after I got the customs stamp). I took it to the Premier location just around the corner from the boutique and got cash back that day, and then got my stamp on the way out of Italy a week later. I actually had a connection in London and had read that I would need to get the customs stamp there as my last point in the EU, but there was no line at Customs in Rome when I got there around 5am so I figured I'd try. He was fine with stamping it as long as I had the boarding pass from London to a non-EU destination to show him.

Excellent! I didn't know there was a cash refund location just around the corner! Thanks for the tips!

I'm going to get cash in Heathrow - and make a small purchase in Chanel again before I fly out :D

Buy your Chanel in Spain!
Much higher VAT refund than in France! 16% refund of Spansh purchases vs 12% in France. And Passaige de Gracia store in Barcelona has a very good stock usually.

And there's an SA named Alexander in Barcelona, he's probably one of the most gorgeous men I've ever seen! :love: lol :D

Is this true that Spain is 16 percent? Last year it was lower than Italy which was at 14 percent vat please confirm
