the biggest outlet (amongst these 3 cities) is the one at ROME, @The Spanish Steps. but watch out for the crowd at peak hours. they have a bigger sales team, and more collections.
Florence's is smallest, Venice has 2 levels!

Haha I never knew it was so difficult to get 1... Even with the money in pocket. Sigh.

Haha ya I know right! But I only have eyes for medium classic flap. Even if I can get the jumbo with that sum of money I still won't get it, because it looks awkward on me (I'm only 1.53m... HAHA), not to mention real heavy.

And it has to be red lambskin, if not I don't want it. Best if it's GHW, but if really no choice I can settle on SHW. Because I'm so adamant on getting a particular colour, size and material, I won't even look at other stuff in Chanel when I stepped into the store HAHAHA.

I already asked the bf (cause he's the one paying...) and he said if really can't get me exactly what I want in Europe, he'll get it here in SG. Cause he knows that this is the only bag that I have eyes for for the past few years, and I didn't buy a single bag since I have set my mind on this. :)

Hahaha thanks! Now if only I could get my impatient hands on it in Italy before SG stocks it... But stocks in Italy seems pathetic and situation in Italy is quite scary with the economic crisis, so getting it there doesn't seem ideal either.

Sigh. I'm even exploring shipping over from US, BUT, my dad is afraid that Saks/ Hirshleifers will ship fakes over or the bag will get damaged during transit. =.=[FONT=&quot]

i thought about it too! but Hirsh emailed me back to say they only ship in US.

Dunno if they will do something like that, but just being skeptical and paranoid since it passed through so many hands... (from vendor to delivery company personnel then to us...)

Yea Hirs doesn't ship Chanel internationally. I've friends living in US haha. But ship back need to pay 7% GST right...

And I wonder if anyone is in Italy now, so can check stock levels hahaha

It will be easy to find lambskin bags at Chanel in Italy. We were there last June for 2 weeks and visited 3 stores trying to get Caviar classic, only lambskin + SHW was available at 2 of the 3 stores.

Hi musicscrip, thanks for your inputs! It's good to know lambskin is available in Italy!

Troublesome thing is that it isn't just lambskin that I want, it has to be red and has to be in the size m/l and best to be in GHW. With the above combi, I don't know how high the probability is of finding one in Italy, especially it's only my bf who's helping me to look (and it isn't exactly a leisure trip...)

So now the dilemma is whether to take a gamble and have him go search for it in Italy in 1st week of June (only 5 days there and probably 2 days for shopping?) or have it pre-ordered at Hirshleifers and delivered to the hotel my bf is billeting at in US. (and this is guaranteed I'll get the bag of my choice since I've to pay half the amount as deposit for pre-ordering first)

But of course, if there what I want is available in Italy, it saves more. (just a wee bit scarier since economic crisis and it's a place of pickpockets...)

Sighhhhh. Dilemma! :( most likely I'll not try to save but instead go for whichever that guarantees me the bag...

Does anyone know if the Chanel stores in Venice, Florence and Rome are close to the major sight seeing areas?
I'm going for 8 days so will be on a busy schedule and hoping to make it to the stores in the 3 cities!
