You can only get your tax refund from the last EU city of departure, which in your case, would be Paris. Tax refund is only given after you receive the stamp from the customs.

I was just at Chanel Milan last week and they are pretty well stocked up. Has all the classic flaps in all sizes and hardwares. But I still suggest you call the boutique a couple of days prior to reserve the bag you want. They will do that for you and give you the name of one of the SA so you just go down and find that SA for your bag :) HTH

I asked them jumbo black caviar with gold hw last week and they didn´t have it. My SA has been Laura, did you meet her? I think she has been nice to me. Did you buy anything there?

I have to agree with you that Irena is a very patient and helpful SA :) When I visit Chanel Milan, I will definitely look for her.

Hi ladies, I will be going to Italy (Milan, Rome and Florence), followed by Paris, then Spain (Madrid and Barcelona). I understand that I will have to get the VAT refund forms stamped only when I leave Barcelona. But my question is, should I buy my Chanel in Italy or wait till I go to Paris?

Appreciate any advice I can get please! TIA!!

hi dear, i found France better for Chanel shopping than Italy, but that's just my opinion. You could check all prices (in Spain, France and Italy, but they are very similar) here on TPF (there is a special thread about worldwide Chanel prices) but if you find item you want in Italy you should buy it, don't wait for Paris. Hope it helps :)

Just to check, does anyone know how are the stock levels in Italy like? I'm looking to purchase the red lambskin m/l classic flap with golden hardware, but seems like red isn't easily found...

i went 2 weeks before Christmas 2012 to Rome, Florence and Venice branches.
It was unfortunately very empty, no classic flaps!!
Maybe cos it was christmas, everyone has bought them all earlier. theres only 1 shop in each city.

Empty and no classic flaps?! What a horror! I hope it wouldn't be that empty this June, when my bf will be going to Florence and Rome. :(:(:(

Do the boutiques stock the full collection??
