Oh my god...I am so sorry this happened to you! I have the same ones and thankfully it didn’t happen to mine :(

maybe you can take them back to the boutique and see what they say?
Hello,

Has this ever happened to anyone? I’m so sad!! Could anyone share how and where they had it fixed? I bumped it into something at the grocery store. I’m so stupid
Thank you!

I know! I just have to learn to be more careful. I was trying to call and get through the boutique closest to me BUT no one was answering and I was quite impatient so I sent it to a local cobbler... don’t panic! It actually turned out really well!!

I’m so so happy they were able to fix it. And now I’m going to be extra careful and not hit it against sharp corners.

Hello everyone,

I just got my chanel espadrilles (second hand) I know you are not authinticatore (it is diffcult to find :)) but does anyone agree to share with me the number of characters that appear in the serial number and their color? A picture of it will be AWESOME. I bought the white leather shoes with the black tip.

Also does anyone have the stitching ti the left side insted of the right side?
adding pic from the Chanel web so that you will see what I mean (there is to the right).

Thank you so much!!!

Hi everyone! I just ordered my first pair of espadrilles in beige/black combo and was wondering if I need to use a protecting spray (if so, which one)? I don’t like to baby my shoes. Apologies if this was already mentioned!

CONGRATS!
I recently broke mine, had it fixed and then I used a Fray stop spray and Kiwi all-protect spray. I made a video about it. in case you’re interested. I am taking care of them much better now and I haven’t had issues so far.

Planning to get myself my 1st pair of Chanel espadrilles but since winter is coming, I don't know whether i should get them now or wait until next spring/summer. Does anyone know if the espadrilles are usually part of the price increase every year? If it is, then i'd rather get it now. And are the classic beige/black lambskin espadrilles always available? Or are they in limited quantities?

hi everyone ! i had some questions about the lambskin espadrilles !! i’m normally a size 38 (US 7 1/2), but i have wide feet - i tried on 39 and 40 in the boutique and i had such a hard time getting my foot into the 39 because of how tight the lip of the shoe was. 40 i was able to get my foot in past the lip, but i had some extra room around the heel of my foot. i know the shoes stretch, but will it stretch only at the lip of the shoe (width wise), or also on the heel area (length wise) ? should i get the 39 or keep the 40 ? is it normal to jump up this many sizes with the espadrilles ? thank you in advance !!!

I own 2 pairs and they have both stretched all around the shoes, not just the lip/toe part. For one pair (I don't know why it's not the case for the other, maybe the lambskin varies), it has stretched so much that it slips my feet if I wear them on a cold day.
I would say it depends on 2 things for you:
1/do you prefer slightly snug or slightly roomy shoes? A lot of people don't mind a bit of room (see Meghab Makle's heels), but I personally can't stand large shoes. I'd rather buy the snug pair and break them in in the house to stretch them.
2/the extra room you mention for the size 40, is that a lot extra that the shoe will slip off your feet? If not and you prefer comfort, you can put insoles in to make them fit better.
Hope this helps!
