For those of you who haven’t taken the plunge and spent a crazy amount of money on these shoes yet... please be warned that they are horrible quality. I bought a pair of all black lambskin essparills about 2 months ago and I have worn them about 5-7 times. The jute is coming apart, the inner sole has moved and even the rubber sole is starting to chip! The customer service at Chanel is horrible too. They were no help at all and all they offered was to glue back the inner sole but that would take 6-8 weeks. Seriously guys I just bought them and really didn’t wear them too much. Very dissapointed. Do not waste you’re money you could revive one of the quality mine has. Please look at the pictures attached.

Fortunately, I have not had this issue. Mine still look new and I’ve worn them often for several seasons. I never wear them while I drive, to avoid creasing. I also only buy my designer shoes from Nordstrom because they have the best return policy, if I were to ever experience any issues.
Have you tried contacting Chanel on social media to see if they can provide you a better resolution?

Thanks for the 411.
I've been eyeing this specific style for my next purchase, but if that's the case I'll start looking for other style instead.

Am I just being picky or would this stitching bother you too? My nearest Nordstrom’s has the beige/black lambskin leather espadrilles available but almost all of the pairs in my size had this same exact “flaw.” When comparing this to my moms or sisters who purchased elsewhere, their stitching on their espadrilles looked perfect. I know they all might not be perfect, but for the amount of money I can’t help but think that in time the holes on the stitching would stretch or become bigger within time of wear!

If you decide to buy them, Nordstrom will always return them if you have issues. I buy all of my designer shoes from Nordstrom because I know if I have issues, they will allow me to return them.

Hope I'm not posting this in the incorrect place but for all you espadrille owners, does the serial code on espadrilles (specifically the linen ones) ever get rubbed off with extensive wear? And by rubbed off I mean to the point where you don't even see a hint of the serial code where it is supposed to be?

any suggestions on whether this can be fixed? i've had my espadrilles for years, and they're so comfortable I don't want to throw them away. however, i'm reluctant to continue wearing them if they should/could be fixed. my closest chanel boutique or NM is more than an hour away so I'd love to hear if others have had this issue too.

They’re so comfy although perhaps not super flattering. But after reading the comments here I’m tempted to return them now. Any thoughts?

I wanted to love them too but when I tried them on they were wayyyyy too wide. Not flattering imo but wear what you love! (:

Good to know. Thanks for the warning. You
saved me some $

I'm new to Chanel espadrilles. Was wondering if the black leather ones are available this year? Will be in Hongkong next month and looking forward to buying my first Chanel espadrilles. Hopefully I find ones in black lambskin  Am I likely to find a pair?

yes i saw them in several stores in Paris and also in Berlin. Saw them also here in Canada recently.

so to continue the quality issues, i wore my new lambskin pair all of two times for maybe 2 hours max each time and the inner sole in the right foot has completely moved. unbelievable. i don’t know why i keep buying these.
