They’re both so different. Good news is you can’t really go wrong as long as you try them on first. I’ve had my leather ones for just under 2 years and my canvas for just under 1 year.
With respect to comfort: my leather ones fit like a glove. Never had any issues with comfort, though sometimes they can get a bit hot. My canvas ones gave me some really nasty blisters on my heel the first time I wore them but now they’re amazing. The fit is a little less snug than the leather, so I think they may have rubbed more which is why they caused blisters the first time I wore them. It is important to keep in mind that espadrilles are flat shoes...they may be more comfortable than a heel or ballet flat, however, they are not as comfortable as sneakers. It sounds weird, but they feel similar to the converse Allstars I used to wear when I was younger [emoji23]
With respect to wear: The leather has softened and wrinkled (as expected), but the shoes look beautiful still. The sole is starting to wear down, so I might get it replaced soon. My canvas ones look brand new, but I would be worried about them getting dirty if I had gotten white canvas. Inside shows minor signs of wear.

I have a pair of Chanel Espadrilles and while grocery shopping today, a jar of marinara broke right at my feet! It completely stained the jute around the sole. I've been turned down by two shoe repairs. I'm waiting for Neiman Marcus' shoe cobbler to take a look at the pictures I sent of my shoes to see if he can even fix them. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on what to do?

Can anyone help - are these authentic?
I bought this pair and I’m thinking they may NOT be authentic, they are guaranteed so I can return .. here’s why I think they are not 1. They do not have the gold stamped style number under the inside of shoe 2. The outside sole says ‘made in spain’ Ur the inside sole says ‘made in italy’ 3. The ‘o’ space between the CC logo looks too small 4. Is the sole height right?

After stalking I finally found a pair. I’ve tried every pair of espadrille but none compares til I got my toes into these [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]A little tight. I’ve been wearing them around the house to see how much they stretch.
