I felt the same way while waiting for my first Chanel espadrilles to arrive! I'm a size 37 for the Chanel lambskin ballerina flats and 36.5 for Valentino rockstud flats (non-caged) and Gucci brixton leather Jordaan loafers. But thankfully my personal shopper was nice enough to send a photo comparing the outsole measurements of size 37 (24.5cm) and 38 (25cm) before I made the decision (my feet are 23.5cm for size reference). I stuck with 37 and thank goodness I did! It fits me perfectly!

Hi ladies! So I’ve worn my espadrilles out for the first time today and it has cause creases at the front part already. Woah that’s a little unexpectedly fast! Is it common or I can only blame my wide feet? :confused1:

I just bought my first pair of the classic lambskin espadrilles in black in a 35. I'm a solid 36 in valentino, chanel ballerina flats, and a 35.5 in Loub Decollette. The SA told me that the shoe should feel very tight and they'll stretch to conform to your foot. Just wanted to pass along her advice.

Dear tpfers! Apologize if this question has been asked before but do linen espadrilles stretch by any chance? I usually wear a size 38 in the lambskin espadrilles and they did stretch to conform to my feet. I bought the linen also in 38 but they seem to be a bit tighter than the lambskin. Does anyone know if they will stretch with wear? Tia!!

OMG, I am so sorry to have missed your message hun @Cclover2013. Hope you are well sweetheart. I found the recent collection of leather espadrilles to run true to size by the way. I own a few leather versions from 2015 and they were on the smaller side of size 6. The SA who sold them to me in 2015 recommended that I purchase them both in a size 37 but after having them for a day i chose to exchange them for the size 36. They were slipping off my feet in the size 37 as i walked so that was not the best option for me. I did end up stuffing them with socks for a while but it did not stretch them enough so I purchased a shoe stretcher from amazon ( cherainti shoe stretcher ) and kept them in the shoes for almost a month which worked wonderfully.


The 18C collection that I purchased seemed to run perfectly for me. I wear a size 36 in chanel espadrilles but a 6.5 in flats, valentino rockstuds, lanvin wedges, boots as well as chole boots. So sorry once again and hope your pairs worked out if you already purchased. Also on a side note I always found that the linen pairs were true to size. Take care:love::hbeat:

I also have the same question. I just boughtba secondhand Chanel Sneakers.. inside of the shoes says made in spain but the outsoles say made in italy. Its a pair of chanel pearl iconic espadrilles sneakers. Now im afraid that they are fake :(
