I am thinking of finally purchasing a pair of classic leather espadrilles. ( I usually wear a 37 in the ballet flats) Last year I tried on the 37, and it fit just right. The SA told me that it might be a good idea to get a 36 since the leather stretches. I tried on the 36, and it was a little snug. Should I get a 36 with the hope of the shoe stretching? Or a 37? Any advice would help. Thank you!

Hello everyone, I’m so new to Chanel espadrilles and I’m interested in getting one especially the new version with chain. As there’s no Chanel store near where I live so I can’t try it on. My feet measured at 25cm so what size would fit me? Thank you.
Hey there. Not sure what size you would be based on the length of your foot. I just recently got the ones with the chain and found them to be true to size. I almost always wear a 7 US in dress shoes and prefer 7.5 US for boots (to allow for room for socks). I purchased these in a 37. For reference, I wear 38 in Chanel ballerinas, and 37.5 in Valentino Rockstuds flats (both leather and patent).

Hi everyone! I know this might be such a stupid question... but does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of Chanel Espadrilles in NYC? Thank you so much in advance for your help!
Hello! Marissa is the Shoe Specialist at Chanel Soho store. She is such a sweet heart and will definitely help you find what you like. She even helped me ship products from other stores to her store to try on prior to purchase!

Hey y’all! Just wanted to share my experience with espadrille sizing, as I just purchased my first pair of lambskin classic espadrilles (beige and black toe).

I am typically a US 7, seldom a 7.5. First, I tried on the espadrilles in a size 37 and had a really hard time putting them on, even with a shoe horn. Once on, I felt pressure on my right big toe, and general snugness on both feet. Worried that the tightness and pressure were signs of misfit, I tried on the size 38. The 38 felt a lot looser, slipped a little off my feet, but didn’t squeeze my big toe like the 37 did, so they generally felt more comfortable. I thought about going for the 38s, as this is also the size I wear in the ballerinas(they are half a size too big, but I prefer them being a little loose than having my toes squished). However, the 38s made my feet look big, which I didn’t like. So I went back to considering the 37s.

I read a lot of reviews online that said that the espadrilles were more comfortable when worn with socks and that they only stretched 1/4 of a size. I thought about this, and I realized that there was no way that the 37s would fit me with socks. But then I realized that I really wasn’t going to wear them with socks anyway, since they are a summer shoe, and it gets too hot in the summer where I live to wear leather shoes with socks.

So I took a leap of faith and went for the size 37, and I am so glad I did! After just one wear they have already loosened up and don’t squish any part of foot. Because my feet can get a little sweaty after a long day of running around, I choose to wear a pair of “not-sock” pantyhose, which absorb the moisture that forms throughout the day, and makes the espadrilles much easier to slip on!

Hope this helps someone!
