Hey Jadeaymanalac, did you ever try putting the clear nail polish over the jute to see if that would protect/prevent unraveling? I was extremely curious about it.
I'm late to the espadrille game but I'm dying to buy them this ear .. Does anyone know the current selling price of both the leather and canvas single sole in the US?

$525 if Im not mistaken, thats how much I got my leather single sole cream pair from Saks

I'm after an all leather pair size 39 (beige or white) in the UK if anyone sees any please.....
Just a little info about the pink colored double soled canvas espadrilles. A lot of stores are completely sold out while some have a few random sizes. The Houston chanel boutique only had a size 41. The SA I talked didn't know if they would get more in but was hopeful since it's not summer yet. She said usually if an item does really well and is sold out they try to restock. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for some pink ones to come my way in a size 38. Hope that helped some people's curious minds. They did have the navy and black leather double soled espadrilles but I think most sizes are sold out because the size on display was a 41. But it's not to say they won't be getting some more in. You never know.

Yeah, I did try it on my old espadrilles (not chanel). The nail polish of course harden as well the jute it will definitely protect it from unravelling and dirt. But keep in mind that it will darken the jute little bit (barely visible).

Have you thought about a sealant, such as a marine sealant? That would make it waterproof, and they are usually fairly gummy sort of; if you could find a clear, it wouldn't darken the jute so much and would make it fairly free of unravels!
The single sole is $525 the double soles are $595. The single sole you want to go one size up and the double is true to size hope this helps

You are so very welcome! I was looking into different ideas for a friend who bought some and that idea just popped into my head. It should work, if it's still made the way it used to be, but just be sure you get clear! Hope it helps!

Oh ok! I don't think I'll cover the entire jute portion of the shoe with clear nail polish (too risky lol) but it's great to know if I notice any spot in particular unraveling, clear polish would be a quick fix. Thank youHey
