Oh, and I noticed some people saying that the canvas has a bit of a tendency to smell after awhile, and I realized that I had a pair of socks meant for regular ballet flats that I never wore, because they were always visible over the flats. Well I tried them on with my Chanel espadrilles, and you couldn't see the socks at all. So if anybody is concerned about that, definitely try getting a pair of socks meant for ballet flats to wear underneath :) That should cut down on sweat hitting the inside of the shoes.

I don't know why they would smell anymore than the leather since the canvas is lined in leather, so it's only leather touching your skin. ☺️

=( so sad I usually wear 6 in american size, and my size 7 leather espadrilles fit so perfectly at first, but now they're too wide. I'm wearing some sketchy insoles in there and they fit fine with them in but I'm scared they will stretch more ugh :\

hi ladies, i have to get off tpf because its costing me too much money this season! now i am onto the espadrilles! how do these run? i have a pair of the canvas blue/ black coming from nm on the west coast because they are sold out by me in the dc area. on the phone the sa told me to size up from my regular size. i normally wear an 8 and he ordered me a 39. do you think that will be fine? these are for the canvas pair $525..

You have to try them on - it varies! I also wear an 8 and got a 39 in the black canvas. Fits great! So when I ordered the 39 in the blue/black, I was so sad when they kept slipping on my feet when I tried them on. So it really depends. I'm sure if they're too big you can exchange them. Also, same thing happened for recent tan/black canvas ones. I tried 39 in the store because that's all the had, it was old out, but the 39 was too big! Hopefully the one you get fits you well :). Keep us posted when you receive them.

I am a 38 and got the blue/black canvas in a 39 and they fit perfectly.

I just returned the blue/black canvas in size 38 to NM at Mazza Galliera last week.

I agree with jaycee_sd they seem to all run differently. My canvas ones were slightly large - I have a 35.5 in chanel flats but was a 35 in espadrilles even though most posts said size up. Hope they fit!
