Hello! New to Chanel purses and I finally decided that I would like the Chanel mini flap in classic black.
Is this bag still very difficult to purchase at boutiques? Few years ago, it was near impossible for someone like me w/o purchase history. I am not sure if this is still the case. I am based in NY area.

Purchase history doesn't matter when you go into a store! You can buy whatever they have in stock.

In the past 3 weeks I've visited a NM Chanel boutique and a freestanding boutique in different cities and both had minis. I bought a seasonal mini in one but wasn't looking specifically for them so can't really report on colors.

I would like some advice on purchasing my first bag. I've been searching for a preloved chanel classic double flap in medium and I have come across this bag online. The bag is from 2011 and the seller had bought it from Coco approved last year. I was wondering if I could get some advice on this bag and if it is worth the price based on its condition. It is $8500 AUD and will come with the authenticity card, the dust bag and a entrupy certificated from coco approved. I am mainly worried about a crack on the button and a crease above this button. Should I purchase this bag or wait for a bag in even better condition?

IMHO If you are referring to a classic black, I think this is too expensive for the year made + issues (a crack on the button?). Creases are to be expected for pre-owned however again I think you can find a much better deal on a newer, better condition classic.

Yes it would be a classic black with silver hardware which I have been struggling to find. After doing some research I’ve learnt it is the female part of the snap button that is cracked. I am surprised that there is a chance to find a better deal as this was the cheapest I could find! Time to dig for some more😅😅
