I'm excited. I think the brand can use a refresh and I like what he's done at BV. I hope he reinvents some of the classics and makes Chanel more relevant to today's woman. I also hope some of my existing collection becomes more valuable so I can sell some of my pieces! LOL

I'm a little torn about Blazy.
I LOVE his recent work at Bottega. I adore my Andiamo and Sardine bags, and they're at a good price compared to Chanel for their size, and much higher quality / craftsmanship. Would be sad to lose that for Bottega.
On the upside, I hope Blazy will bring better craftsmanship back to Chanel's handbags! And I'm looking forward to seeing what designs he comes up with.

I'm not jumping for joy but I'm interested to see what he does. Also yes, my first thought was "poor bottega"; they were just becoming real good.
Better craftsmanship is always good, but personally BV is not my style ( though I do appreciate the craftsmanship of the woven bags) so I'm not sure what to think.

I think you have to feel comfortable with the seller, checkout their other items for sale, etc.

I trust their authentication service, but I still prefer to go to the Chanel shop (even with these huge prices) because I like to see the items and the shopping experience. In case one day I decide for second hand, I will buy from Vestiaire and no other sites. I bought from them many times, just no Chanel (yet). But you have to make sure that you really like the item and check every detail, since you cannot return
