Sorry if I'm in the wrong thread but would anyone be able to help me with a dilemma? I'm looking to purchase a second hand Chanel WOC. The bag looks good and authentic from photos and comes with the full set including original receipt & microchip, but 1) they're selling for a startling low price considering it's allegedly brand new and 2) the microchip has 9 letters instead of the 8 that pretty much every source states. The bag looks real, but the price and microchip code throws me off. Have there been any instances where a microchip has come with 9 letters?

Have been hearing the big bag is coming back also. But because of my frame , I’m loving this small bag era we are in. I had the same quote on my same bag. I have been wondering what to do also. I did not buy mine so I’m thinking any profit is a profit . But it’s just staggering how much it costs new and what you can actually sell it for. Maybe try friends and family ? Or Poshmark and just wait and see if you can get what you want . I also feel uneasy about my unused bags just sitting and not getting to live out their livesIf there is a better forum for this question please move admin. I have been thinking of letting go a classic caviar black jumbo which is really in like new condition because it was far too big for me. Went to a well known reseller for a quote and was told 3400. Bag currently retails at 11.7k. I see others on their site in excellent condition marked to 6-7k and still sitting. Do you think the big bag trend will ever come back? People keep saying it will but I don’t see it happening. Do you think Chanel will stop making this size or keep upping prices. Medium and smalls and obviously mini do much better with holding value. I’ve had this bag now about eight years and debating what to do with it since it just sits. I can’t use it because it hurts my back.
The SA said I could throw it out but I want to keep it as a sort of good luck charm lol. It's also probably worth mentioning that I ordered this bag from a different boutique and had it shipped to me via the remote order service, so it was apparently shipped out without alerting the boutique? This hasn't happened with any of my other Chanel bags. I'm not concerned, I just thought it was a strange occurrence.

Thanks for the replies! I am realizing that I love my bags and will definitely love them for years! Who cares what anyone thinks about the way I spend my money? Men don't think it's too flashy to spend "too much" money on their cars and I drive a Porsche 😅
What I find interesting is that I loved chanel as a young girl, because it always represented playful and yet sophisticated feminine energy to me which I only dreamt of exuding. So many heritage pieces are imitated and a part of timeless style: from the tweed suit, the LBD, chain handles and quilted bags etc. I hate the gauche aesthetic of some of VV's Chanel which has popularized among the social influencer crowd.
So, now that I can comfortably afford it, I should wear my bags til the corners are ragged

They still make the boy. Contact a sales associate in the store and let them know that you would like to purchase the boy in that combo.

A bag was delivered at my home once with the alarm tag still on…it was in the middle of covid (and bought via whatsapp) so it was a bit of hassle to go to the boutique to have it removed….my husband cut it with some garden scissors🤣
Hi everyone, does anyone know the purchase limits in France / Paris? Is it one bag per customer - over every 60 days like in the uk?
It really depends on where you go (Harrods, Selfridges or actual boutique) and also on your SA. I heard that it was 2 bags every 60 days but then one SA didn't even pay attention to that and I bought more than that in that timeframe.

When people say one or two "bags" what does that mean? Do Wocs count? Do seasonal bags count? In the past month I bought two Wocs and a classic mini seasonal, so I'm just wondering if Chanel won't sell to me now... or if unintentionally got around a limit by shopping at different stores.
