Does anyone know how I can safely clean my cfs chain? I took it to a party and now there’s frosting bits stuck in some parts of the chain  some are really inside under the leather and idk how to clean it
Hi @fashionelite, what do you mean by frosting bits? Would you show a picture? . I am glad to hear you were able to remove it, I am just curious to see what the “frosting” is. TIA

I've got a question: Is there a possibility that a sold-out bag would be received again?

I've been looking for the 22B Printed Denim Classic Flap for a while and the collection launched back in November 2022. It was a seasonal piece, but is it completely unheard of for a seasonal piece to be reintroduced?

I have been wanting a white bag for a while, but I just don’t trust myself with leather. I’m thinking about jumping on a white tweed, but I was wondering if there were any worries with color transfers or other issues. Any advice is appreciated.
HI! The tweed, like any fabric will wear out, and i think would be harder to maintain - consider it wont be easy to wash, things might catch and pull threads, pilling and so on. If you are keen on a white bag in any style, go for a caviar or cowhide leather as it is more durable, and you can use a leather protectant too. Just make sure not to wear with dark clothing/denim or any fabric colours that "run'.

Hi all, looking for advice on whether this would be a worthwhile purchase. It’s a Chanel square caviar mini, series 18, priced at 5580USD. Is it overpriced or should I just bite the bullet and get it ‍

I think most caviar minis are around that price range if they are in decent condition. It’s overpriced IMHO but I paid around that price for a 20series caviar mini rectangular earlier this year (which I kind of regret…)

Thanks for the reply! Why did you regret it?
The strap of the mini rectangular is just a little too long on me and I don’t love the color as much I thought I would initially (mine is a greyish blue). Compared to my other pre-loved Chanel bags of the same size (eg mini reissue) it was also significantly more expensive (more than $1k difference). So while I understand why they fetch a premium given Chanel doesn’t make them in caviar anymore, I still struggle a bit with the price I paid :-/

Hi,

Do you authenticate your Chanel bags when bought through a reseller?

I have just received mine and have no reason to doubt it's authenticity (having had a few Chanel bags) but wonder if it's required as a rule of thumb? Especially since the existence of super fakes.

I have also received the original receipt and tag (with the reseller's and advisor's info blackened out of course) and can see my bag chip's serial number mentioned on the receipt as 'Reference #' giving me further assurance. But can this too be faked? Curious.

Chit chat <3

Today I found out I own a vintage tweed, a little over 20 years old! Original gold plating, no torn leather or popped stitches. Its almost pristine so I tossed it in the bin with the other newer models. I didn't expect such good news. I was going to cosign but now I feel like I own something so precious.
