Costco has been known to sell fake jeans before. I doubt that it's intentional, but they've had them.

And the LV would definitely be fake, as only Louis Vuitton boutiques get merchandise.

Um, the classic flaps don't go on sale at the store ever... but they have them at Costco, just a few blocks north?? I think it's time to sell all mine if that is true. This is really a low. Not something I am excited about at all. No offense. And in my opinion vis a vis the brand, not worth selling out for that much of a discount to Costco..... Is this real?

I doubt they have a ton of stock, probably a few odd pieces. I guess I could pay the retail price of $2650 for the jumbo caviar down the street just to preserve the brand and what it stands for, but 700$ is kind of hard to pass up, especially if its the same thing.

It's certainly not your job to pass up $700 to preserve the brand BUT I am shocked re this... to me you give it away before you have it for sale at costco... wouldn't you like that better? :graucho:

haha for sure! I was just reading another thread where someone actually contacted LVMH regarding the LV bags at costco. While LVMH reps verified their authenticity and said that Costco was not doing anything illegal, they didn't condone the fact that they were selling. They also did not distribute to them, and recommended buyers to either purchase directly through retail stores or through e-luxury.

So I'm likely guessing that Costco didn't get these from Chanel either.. I really wonder where they're from.

I am going to leave it at "interesting"... make less sell it for more... that would be my strategy... even if it meant the real me couldn't buy it... I want to know who unloaded at Costco of all places??!!?? I mean Woodbury Commons is just north of there... yes, it is "interesting" news...

I honestly did not post this to spark any sort of debates..I was shocked.. and had to read it a few times..ha ha but I though fellow Chanel lovers would like to know that this is in fact true. How long they will be there..or the amount of inventory remains to be seen..it might just be something to kick off the opening with. Maybe they just have some different colors that didn't sell hey why not get a fun color or something different for a lot less if you could.
