that would be awesome! thanks! I told my dh that if I ever see one at costco, i'm whipping out the credit card. he wasn't tooo happy about that.. hehe

I meant Some are really mean and most of them can't afford the fine jewelry they sell to their customers yet still treat their customers like you-know-what.

My dh and I went to the Bev Hills boutique because he wanted to buy me the $25,000 camelia ring with diamonds on it. I wanted to see it irl to compare it to the ruby and pink saphires one because they're the same price. I couldn't decide on either one. The SA was soooo rude! she didn't bother answering my questions when I showed up there. I guess she assumed that I couldn't afford it. then when my husband showed up looking for me (I went in first because he had to park the car) they didn't let him in because they couldn't believe that he could be married to me (he's white and i'm asian). They could have asked me if that was my husband or could have opened the door and asked him if i was his wife! i had to stop and walk over and demand that they let him in because he WAS my husband!

Once they let him in, the SA kept pointing out "flaws" she saw in the rings I was interested in and acted like we didn't have any money unless we buy the $60K version of the diamond and pink saphire camelia ring.

Goodness gracious! do they expect everyone who enters the fine jewelry area to be rich celebrities? we're regular people (upper middle class) who saved up to buy something nice and we get treated like that??

suffice it to say, we left the bev hills chanel boutique. if they only want to cater to movie stars then we'll let them.. this saturday he's taking me to SCP in costa mesa instead... hopefully we will get better service!

I was already in the store for 10 minutes. He got there after he parked the car 2 minutes BEFORE closing time but they had -already- locked the glass doors. He was knocking on the glass door and pointing at me through the glass. They were just standing there staring at them and talking about how he is gesturing that he was with me. They didn't bother to open the door and ask him if he was with me nor did they come over and ask me if he was with me. They just stood there staring and talking amongst themselves. I literally had to walk over tell them to unlock the doors and then waited until the fine jewelry manager came over and told them to unlock the doors! crazy, right???

I don't normally post in here, but I thought people in metro-Detroit might like to know that there is one Chanel bag and some other designer bags at the Costco in Madison Heights, MI. They had a special table. You can kind of see Chanel in first photo in my thread in Coach forum (link here.

Channel was $2k.

wtf! The Chanel looks so WRONG there!! Chanel should be held by the ladies shopping at Costco, not on a sad table collecting dust and finger grease from everyone who samples the mini hot pockets in aisle 8. :(

I see most of the bags are wrapped in plastic, the Chanel and LV must have been asked to be taken out of the plastic and fondled. Hope the SA standing there has security devices on them, it looks easy to walk off with one!

I'm not very familiar with Chanel as they're a little beyond my budget at this point in my life. So I can't tell you the exact model for the black quilted flap bag I saw yesterday at Costco. It was a smallish bag (bigger than an evening bag) and it had the pebble-textured leather. The cost was $1995.
They also had a couple of Burburry's and an LV Manhattan PM.
We don't even have boutiques or stores that carry Louis Vuitton or Balenciaga, much less Chanel. So I can't believe I see them at Costco in Omaha, NE!

yaa i remember someoen said there was Chanel watches at Costco??
I can't believe they will have these brands at Costco either!! But I doubt they will be selling fake stuff?? Being a big company, their business will be in trouble if they get caught by selling fakes!
