I ordered the magnets because the first time I used it, I felt like my phone would fall out. I love the look, but maybe it’s just me, it feels like my items could come out if I’m not ultra careful.
Hi @chococatx! I just saw the 22 mini in a boutique for the first time and loved it! Planning to get it tomorrow. You mentioned that it can turn into a backpack, but my SA did not sure me such option. I'm super curious how does it work. Could you kindly share how do you transform it into a backpack? Or show a photo? Thanks a lot!
Question for Chanel 22 mini owners. Are the two longer straps, the leather one & the chain strap, the same length?? Is one longer than the other? If someone could check on their bag and report back I would greatly appreciate it. TY!!
I just purchased mine, haven't used it yet, but I'm pretty sure both straps are the same length.
22mini is really cute especially with the Medallion. I hope Chanel will have a newer version where the leather cord is removable.
I heard they might come out with a version that has a closure as well. I would love a magnetic closure so items can’t spill out.
I have the one released last year with pearl and the chain strap is slightly longer than the leather one. Very disappointing because it is annoying that when worn with both straps the chain strap will hang slightly. I’ve seen that quite a few 22 minis can have this issue so will not buy another for this reason.
I’m glad it isn’t just me, I had the SAME issue and ended up exchanging the bag. I probably wouldn’t have noticed if the difference was slight but it was enough that the chain hung loosely.
That great you were able to exchange. The pearl one was hard to get and wasn’t able to exchange and at the time felt lucky to get it. I tried using the chain clips to shorten the strap but couldn’t get it to work. I mostly use with one strap or the other to make it work. Sad quality is like this now.
I am posting my question again and hoping someone can answer. I realize that corner wear will happen due to the folder corners of this bag. Has anyone been able to find anything to help with corner wear on the Chanel 22 mini? Thanks in advance.
I agree. I had to go through so many cf’s to get the one I wanted. It’s still not 109%. Then, my 22 mini was off. Ugh
I wanted the pearl version too. But it’s not being offered now.
I’m not sure what would help aside from not using the bag. I haven’t seen corner wear yet on my two-month old 22 medium but I don’t really examine the bag closely. I think corner wear might be inevitable over time so you should just enjoy the bag!
