Yikes, I guess it was inevitable with the folded corners. Yes, too soon! The folded corners reminds me of the coco handle which is notorious for corner wear. I still love my Chanel 22 mini and I will not look at the bottom!

I love it too and will simply ignore those corners

I got some magnets off of amazon and inserted it into the openings where the chains slide in and out. It took some maneuvering to get them in the center, but now it's perfect!

I bought these magnets online and just slot in at the opening by the side and Ta-dah, the bag can “close”

I did the same as you (thanks for the tip!) but how do you keep your magnet in place without having it move left and right, or flip "behind" the chain straps?

Since I added the magnets, I don't really keep my bag open. I make sure the magnets are connected whenever adjusting the chains so that they stay centered. But yeah besides that, there are times where I'm putting things in/taking things out when the magnets aren't connected but I haven't seen them shift in those cases!

I had for a week. I did bring to Chanel and they said it’s wear and tear. Their guarantee doesn’t include leather anyway (only hardware and some other issues they mentioned)..

I just bought the 22 mini bag in black color last month and I exactly had the same issue like your bag. One corner had the leather peeling. I felt like the color painting/ coating was rubbing off. I used this bag 4 times after getting it for ten days. It is so sad since the price is too expensive but the quality is not the same as the the price. My sister had a small 22 bag in black color. She bought it last year and all four corners had this issue, too.

I can't believe I am thinking of my buying another Chanel 22 mini. What do you guys think of the red in 22 mini? Has anyone seen it in person? Yay or Nay?
