Is your 22 mini from the 23S or 23B collection? I am wondering if it depends on the leather they use that may be prone to wear. It doesn't help with the folded corners style which are prone to wear (ie: Coco Handle).

My bag is from 23B collection. I agree with you that the folded corners are prone to wear. The wear and tear just happened faster than I imagined it would be. I still love this bag. It’s my grab-and-go bag now.

I had a chance to see other colors of 22 mini from 23B collection. I felt the leather they used are different even though they are from the same collection. For instance, the 22 mini in light color didn’t give the same feeling when I touched the bag. My 22 mini has a smooth and shiny leather but some light colors have more wrinkles and a little bit matte leather. So I believe it might depends on the leather, too.

If you have the black Chanel 22 mini, the leather is in shiny calfskin. I have this one as well. So far, I haven't seen any corner wear but I've only carried it a couple of times. Given the price tag, we shouldn't be seeing this type of wear so soon. I agree, it is a great grab and go bag.

Do you have a pic of the corner protection and where did you purchase it from? I haven't used this bag much because it is going to painful to see the wear after only a few times out.
