22mini is really cute especially with the Medallion. I hope Chanel will have a newer version where the leather cord is removable.

So the new mini 22 you can remove the straps. Just curious why you would want to?

I saw it in person, it’s a great change but does only allow you to remove both the chain and cord together, not just one — it’s a shame bc I really don’t love the cord part

Question for Chanel 22 mini owners. Are the two longer straps, the leather one & the chain strap, the same length?? Is one longer than the other? If someone could check on their bag and report back I would greatly appreciate it. TY!!

mine has the leather strap longer than the chain. it’s pretty irritating when i cross body it and the leather strap keeps dropping.

with that, can i check if anyone try to shorten the longer straps?! i have been trying ways to shorten but can’t find a solution….

Yeah definitely not a perfect solution - though now I’m wondering if you could just use two thin ribbons to tie off the length you want on each side - as long as it wasn’t so tight that it would leave a mark, it would be able to hold both pieces of the strap better and tighter

So the strap is now detachable, but still chain strap & cord strap are still together correct? Did they put a snap closure?
