Hi everyone,
I picked up a mini in calfskin black a couple of days ago that's in new condition. I read the DYI hacks here for a magnetic closure and was wondering how the closure is holding up. Any damage to the bag? Also, I couldn't find an organizer for the mini with a top zip (I don't have DYI skills to make one myself) on either Zoomoni's website or on Etsy. And lastly, I read about some kind of strap/clip to prevent rubbing along where the chain comes out, but couldn't find anything useful on Amazon. If anyone has suggestions or recommendations for any of the above on any US website (or one that ships to the US), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi everyone! I asked this question in another thread but realized it’s probably more relevant here. I was under the impression that all newer Mini 22 bags came with removable straps, so I was surprised when my SA told me that the So Black color combo I ordered doesn’t have this feature. I haven’t received my bag yet, so I’m still hoping the SA may have overlooked it—though that seems unlikely. Has anyone else heard of specific color combinations not having removable straps? It seems odd that they would exclude certain colors, and I’m curious about why that might be.
Removable strap is a pretty recent addiction, so only the most recent seasons have removable strap Chanel 22s. The So Black is from an older collection when that wasn't implemented yet
I didn't even realize it was possible for the store to still have bags from a few seasons ago, I thought they sell out pretty quickly. I wonder if I should return and wait for this color combo to be released with the removable strap. I'm not sure if it's accurate, but my SA said that they will not have the So Black minis in the upcoming collection unfortunately. Does anyone know how frequently is the So Black typically released?
I’m wondering if storing my mini 22 on this purse holder by the shorter two chains is going to cause any damage or unwanted wrinkling. And wondering if anyone else has any other great ideas and ways that you store your mini 22 since it is unstructured!
My mini 22 in so black arrived today, sharing for some eye candy. I love this color combo! But I wish the strap was removable... Not sure I'm willing to wait another year for the new so black release with the removable strap, so I think I'm going to keep it.

I wouldn't hang it to store it. I don't have one, but I'd tuck in the chains and lay flat.

I really would like the light blue one. Did you see any other colors when you were in the boutique?
No, both 24K mini and small are in black shiny grained calfskin with gold hardware. I did look at all the available colors - white, black, light pink, light purple all in shiny calfskin; then, there are a few metallic lambskin - purple, silver and pink; for shiny grained calfskin, I saw a light purple and a light pink, but none of those are from the 24K collection. On launch day, I was told there is only one 24K mini available per store. I only see the 24K small in grained calfskin on the official website and not even the mini yet. I personally would prefer a white mini in grained calfskin with silver hardware or so black, but none available on the launch day.
I just got my first mini Chanel 22 second hand and looks like the previous owner modified the strap and cut the leather cord off. Deciding if I should keep it or not since this was not disclosed. Opinions? I don’t like the cord anyways so not sure how I feel about it. I love the color though!
