I don't love the cord either, but I think since this bag was modified it needs to be at least 50%. Otherwise I wouldn't keep it.

Actually modifications would bother me. Even though I'm not a fan of the leather cord, it is there (I believe) to lessen the chain digging into your shoulders. I just got a black 22 mini. I'm still getting used to it. I like how much you can stuff into this tiny bag because it's a bucket, and it's so stylish.

A modification like a strap being cut off is generally considered a defect or misrepresentation, especially if it wasn't disclosed in the listing. You should be entitled to a full refund, including shipping and return fees, as the item was not as described.

I decided I’m not ok with it and returned it for a full refund with shipping fees refunded since it wasn’t disclosed. I feel like I would rather spend more and get it from the Chanel store at this point. Thanks for your help!!

Yes. Get it from a store. Keep shopping and you may find a color, style that you like even more. I think the mini looks great in black (practical because it's a crossbody and lots of rubbing against clothing), as well as a pop of color because it's so small and cute.

Is it really hard to get one in a US boutique? I have no problem in Asia.

I have a weird question but did you buy this from the real real? I purchased a bag in the same color and they cancelled my order because there was a duplicate listing but it was the same price! Just curious :)

I got another Chanel 22 mini in beige which is a color that I have been looking. It’s with detachable straps and i think i FINALLY found a way to carry it.

I hooked both ends together with a bag adjuster and looped it through the center leather strap at both sides of the bag.

Here are some photos, though am not sure how it would affect the bag in future but i’m trying not to overload so it doesn’t get too heavy.

A way to consider if you are looking to carry it as a shoulder bag!

That's super interesting! I'm not sure though that I fully understand how it all functions. It
would be super helpful if you could post a picture of how you're wearing it.
