I just finished my treatment plan with Candid and now this thread is making me want blinding white chiclet veneers.

How did I miss this? I cant decide if I want veneers or to hug my teeth.

Really good veneers/dentures, the technician shapes each tooth individually. The ideal is that they have some ridges, unevenness, uniqueness as this reads as “natural” to the eye. The goal is that they are slightly translucent like real teeth also. Obviously, this is more expensive.

I’m not of the camp that believes natural teeth ever look better than veneers, even if they’re too large or too white.
I don’t know if I’d get them myself.. I have a friend who got veneers a few years ago and regrets having them done, having to change the way she eats forever among other inconveniences.

Done by a great dentist, it costs as much as a serie E Mercedes. And yes it hurts and yes it has to be maintained regularly.
Unless, your smile is completely jacked, I would pass.
I got a quote at my dentist for $64k+ for a full makeover. I passed. But a couple of years later, I chipped my teeth running up the stairs with a bunch of takeout in my hands. I passed out at the top of the stairs and boom, landed on my chin. I only have 6 veneers on the top front teeth and it cost $22k. So worth it! I love them. Dr. Bill Dorfman.
