Surely Cartier won’t warranty it anymore. I think the warranty for bracelet is only 2 years, pls correct me if I am wrong. My love is 7 years old so I’m not worrying about warranty. But of course you can’t resell the bracelet because it’s has been repaired.
So true! my love are about 8 years old as well and I was thinking of getting them resize to 17 or 18 . Last year I had some issue with my clash bracelet lock and cartier offered to upgrade the screws of my love bracelets for free. I wish they offer resizing.

great info, I lost weight , I had originally bought size 18 and exchanged for 19, because I was feeling the side screws on my wrist, but now size 19 is super big, I'm a guy but this thing goes up and down all over my arm.. what are my options.. is the 30% to have Cartier re size correct, means I have to wait a few months? is there another option where I can pay and not have to wait??.. or might be better to just go with a good local jeweler and have it re sized.. but who knows if they do a good job ..

TIA

Best to call or speak to a Cartier SA. They can tell you how much it is. But i think they will have to melt your bracelet and make a brand new one. If thays the case, better to buy a new bracelet. You could sell your size 19 or just wear it and stack with other bracelets. Hope it works out!

I’d suggest waiting a year or 2 of maintaining weight before making a decision.
Also, do you ever intend on stacking?

I stack with a JUC small because I don't have a big wrist and some David Truman , but again I can turn the bangle around or go up and down and its very uncomfortable

This is just me but I am not a big fan of any alteration / modifications of any of my bracelets by a 3rd party. I rather sell it to pre loved market and put that money towards a new bracelets anyway the prices from the boutique and pre loved are not that far off. Also, there's no guarantee that the jeweler would do a good job and the possibility of getting it repaired by cartier would void it and down the road it will even be more harder to sell a modified piece. I say this because I had issue with one of my bracelet and cartier offered to replace all of my love bracelet screws for free even those that are older than 7 years that time.

I went to Cartier beginning of March to show them my JUC was to big and then they offered to have it resized for 30%. They didnt offer just to get a new one, and I didnt even ask. They said 20 weeks. Last week they said September because of Olympics. So probably 6 months. I would not have an outside jeweler do this. I would sell and repurchase if necessary.
