Just picked up my ring today! I had shipped it at the end of October and it was ready coincidentally when I was in San Francisco visiting. It took about 4 months and I paid around $580 to reproduce my love ring from a size 48 to 53!

Congrats!!! That's like getting a new piece!Just picked up my ring today! I had shipped it at the end of October and it was ready coincidentally when I was in San Francisco visiting. It took about 4 months and I paid around $580 to reproduce my love ring from a size 48 to 53!
Do they melt the gold bracelet you return and use the melted gold to make person a new bracelet?Yes, they gave an example of somebody who inherited a piece that didn't fit. It can be a 30 year old piece, they'll take it and create a completely new one in the size you need.
I assume they use the gold from the old bracelet to create a new bracelet. The customer service representative didn’t specifically mention the word melt, but that’s how I understood it. You can call them and clarify it, if it’s important for your decision.Do they melt the gold bracelet you return and use the melted gold to make person a new bracelet?
If not, what does Cartier do with the old used bracelet?
Hii Maria333! I'm on the same boat as Hanna.sia and am looking for a location to adjust my JUC bracelet for the 30%. Do you mind sharing your SA contact with me as well? Thanks so much!Sure, just PMed you!
I don’t think my SA works there anymore. You can try calling King of Prussia boutique directly and ask them about resizing.Hii Maria333! Yes, some items can't be resized, which leaves the option to reproduce the item. Did they mention it to you?I went to the Yorkdale location to get my trinity rings resized. They told me if could only be sized down one size, no other service was possible. I was so disappointed.
That's a very interesting question, I have not heard of cases when Cartier would make modifications that change the category of the item. Please keep us posted!I have the CARTIER D'AMOUR BRACELET with the pink sapphire. I don't wear it anymore because it gets lost in my stack with. my bangles. Does anyone know if Cartier would extend the chain to make it into a necklace?

I think the chain can only be extended by a maximum of a certain amount, not much at all (not enough to make a necklace by a long shot).I have the CARTIER D'AMOUR BRACELET with the pink sapphire. I just had the experience of having an offer to remake a Love bracelet for 30% of the retail price, so of course I thought of this thread and thought I would add my experience here.Items that can be resized are resized free of charge (once per item benefit). Pieces that cannot be resized, such as love bracelet or JUC ring for example, are re-made and 30% charge applies, or you can get a new one if you're not interested in keeping the same serial number. I paid 30% and opted to get a new JUC ring as opposed to waiting for 6 weeks for a re-make.
Cartier King of Prussia
Ok, thank you so much for the info! Im in Miami. I wonder what I can do to have them do this at 30%? Perhaps I can call the King of Prussia boutique and ask if they are willing to speak to mine 😅
