Do they melt the gold bracelet you return and use the melted gold to make person a new bracelet?

I assume they use the gold from the old bracelet to create a new bracelet. The customer service representative didn’t specifically mention the word melt, but that’s how I understood it. You can call them and clarify it, if it’s important for your decision.

I don’t think my SA works there anymore. You can try calling King of Prussia boutique directly and ask them about resizing.
Yes, some items can't be resized, which leaves the option to reproduce the item. Did they mention it to you?
I have the CARTIER D'AMOUR BRACELET with the pink sapphire. I don't wear it anymore because it gets lost in my stack with. my bangles. Does anyone know if Cartier would extend the chain to make it into a necklace?

That's a very interesting question, I have not heard of cases when Cartier would make modifications that change the category of the item. Please keep us posted!
I think the chain can only be extended by a maximum of a certain amount, not much at all (not enough to make a necklace by a long shot).
I just had the experience of having an offer to remake a Love bracelet for 30% of the retail price, so of course I thought of this thread and thought I would add my experience here.
