Cartier love bracelet resizing/reproduction options

Can you kindly tell me where you went? I inquired about this with my local boutique and they had no clue this was even possible! Also, I chatted with customer service online and they said it’s 40%. So inconsistent!

Items that can be resized are resized free of charge (once per item benefit). Pieces that cannot be resized, such as love bracelet or JUC ring for example, are re-made and 30% charge applies, or you can get a new one if you're not interested in keeping the same serial number. I paid 30% and opted to get a new JUC ring as opposed to waiting for 6 weeks for a re-make.

Cartier King of Prussia

Cartier King of Prussia
Ok, thank you so much for the info! Im in Miami. I wonder what I can do to have them do this at 30%? Perhaps I can call the King of Prussia boutique and ask if they are willing to speak to mine 😅

About 6 years ago a friend of mine got into l weird bike accident and damaged her love bracelet. The hospital was able to remove it without cutting it in half. Anyway, many months later I went with her to Cartier and asked if they can repair the badly scratched with some side dents bracelet and they did. They charged her that time around 30% of the price but when they returned the bracelet to her it looks brand new. Cartier replaced her old screws and polished the bracelet.

It does apply to all jewelry, reproduction could be for re-sizing purposes or if your item is really beaten up.
You are right, the percentage is based on current retail.
I am not sure about what you should give in, but I know the new one you get will have the same serial code so I believe you keep the paperwork.
Hi I know this is an old post but just checking if you know - what if the piece has been discontinued. Then which price will they base on? I haven't gone in to ask but happy if such options exists in my country.

Hi all - is the 30% surcharge still the case? I lost some weight and my JUC is very loose. I'd like to resize before adding more to my stack. Can anyone share an SA or found a location that will adjust for 30%? I am not near a boutique.

Hi! Yes, I was able to do a reproduction at 30%. I’m still waiting for it (3-6 month wait!) but the quote was done in Dec. The trick was to see a service specialist not an SA. She knew it would be around 30% but couldn’t give me the exact quote as it wasn’t up to her. The process is that they take your piece and send it to the workshop, I believe located in NYC which ultimately determines the cost. They will email you an estimate and you can decide to do it or not. I’m not sure how it would work if you aren’t physically near a boutique but if you call, try speaking with a service specialist and they should be able to guide you.

This is exactly how it went for me! I sent in my love ring in October and ETA is in March. I miss my ring a lot 😭
