I actually just came back from the Chicago store - they have 2 mandy in whiskey's left - both floor samples. Once they're sold out, that's it.

Yep! I figured they would be limited like the shoulder bag was. But at least for now you can get it off coach.com. Called a local store in my area and they still have a bunch left, but they're a flagship store too.

Kallison that Mandy looks GREAT on you, so keep it since you also love it! Return the punch tote since it's still current and you can pick it up at next PCE w/ a discount (if you still want it). Sell the shoulder bag (you will probably get a very good profit on it!)

well, i carried the mandy today. DEFINATELY will take some getting used to, especially when i'm having to lug around a school bag too.

the only thing is the guy at the outlet never gave me a chance to look the bag over before i bought it (he basically said if i didn't buy it then, he was giving it to the ebay resellers that were there). and he assured me it was in perfect condition- and it's NOT. one of the rings on the side is scratched (not even little scratches from normal wear, they're deeper than that). and there are some pretty big scratches to the leather, too (that aren't coming out like the smaller scratches are) and there's quite a bit of scuffing to the lining inside...and i'm a bit upset that i just paid $720 for a bag that isn't even close to "perfect" condition, like he promised. i know they normally mark bags with that kind of wear down a bit...do you think they'd do some kind of price adjustment, since the quality isn't what they said it would be?!

IMO - since that bag sounds like it was far from "perfect" condition, I'd return it and just pay the extra $80 or so, to get a real perfect bag from a retail store. Becuase with that much wrong with the bag, I wouldn't be happy unless it was discounted more. But, ask the outlet if they would discount it more, never hurts to ask.

see, i would keep it if they would discount it a bit more.not sure how that could work or if they'd have to stamp it or something (doesn't currently even have an outlet stamp)

Call them or go there and see if they can do anything for you. Never know, it might work.

I can't believe though that the guy at the outlet wouldn't let you look over the bag. How rude of him to say that he would give it to the ebay sellers. totally rude of him. :hysteric:

If you can get back there and tell them you didn't realize that it has some dings and should have been discounted or else you would just like to return it. Thats a lot of money to spend if something is bothering you about the bag. Good luck!

problem is, i can't get back to the outlet i got it at. i'd have to go to another one- and not sure if they would take my word for it, you know?

it sorta bothers me. i mean, any bag they have there with any sort of wear on it, it gets a 50% off tag as a final sale. why should this one be an exception? (and, no, i'm not being overly cheap. but for that price, a bag with these problems makes me upset).

he was flat out, the rudest guy i have ever met at coach.

i went in and he asked me if i was looking for it. so i rattled off a list and asked if he knew of anything in the back (mia satchels, gallery totes, anything legacy). he said, no. so i left it at that, no big deal.

so went i was paying for a few things, i see him pull out the mandy for these obnoxious ebay sellers (who the sa's were falling all over). i nonchalantly mentioned it to the sa, something like "oh, i cant believe you have a mandy!". nothing rude, just a comment. she asked if i wanted it, and i said yeah. so she went and asked the guy (the one i was talking to earlier) if these ladies were buying it. and he basically said i needed to tell him RIGHT THEN yes or no, or it was going to these ladies. i was a bit shocked, but he DID say it was absolutely in perfect condition. and i believed him.

You are right, a bag (especially for that much) should not make you upset. I would call the one you got it from and speak to the manager about the SA that rushed you and let them know whats wrong with the bag.
