Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

I tend to leave my dark colors at home during the summer, I'd go for something light.

I tend to go for colors in the summer and carry my black bags more during the 'winter' months (and I used that term loosely as it rarely goes below 40 degrees here!).

Plus, I personally wouldn't want to 'worry' about my bag on vacation, and I would definitely worry about a BBag! I try to take less expensive bags that I won't worry about getting beat around, knocked about, etc. But that's just me

I like Black Patent for summer. I just got the Stuart Weitzman. It's big soft & floppy. I'm using it as my work bag.

That's a lovely bag! But I think it's time my Marc Jacobs canvas had an airing. Maybe the black City needs a rest.

But most of my black bags also have other colours on them (even if it's just a neutral, like dark brown), so I guess that's cheating, really?!

If I wanted to carry a large, plain, black bag, I'd probably tie a coloured scarf to it; especially in the summer.

i really like the look of a little black dress and a black bag on a warm summer night... most everyone else has on white or color in summer (even in the evening) so it's a nice departure from the norm...

I use all my bags year round, including black.

Although in summer I'd be more inclined to wear bright colored bags.

Most of my bags are not black. I have a versatile black Marc Jacobs bag I use mostly for work though. The only black bag i bring with me on vacation is a small Coach Swingpack b/c it's easy to carry around. Other than that, during the spring and summer months i'll use bright colored bags or light neutrals

personally, i wont do it.

I usually match what color i'm wearing with the black (pants) anyways. And i dont even own a black bag. And come to think of.. i have NEVER had one.. (and i'm 27...) huh.
