Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

i've seen white bags in the winter and its no longer a "taboo" to do it. i dont see the reason why black should be a "taboo" in the summer

You can, but I always think it looks kind of heavy. That may be because it's so hot here in the summer, though.

Absolutely. Black and brown can be worn year round.

I think it's fine to basically carry whatever color bag you like - all year long. That said, I'm not a fan of carrying a black bag in Spring/Summer with light color clothing with the belief that 'black goes with everything'.

i agree with the other posters, black is definitely ok as long as it's not overly heavy looking. and balancing with brighter colors is good.

I think black is very striking in bright sunshine and against suburned skin and bright clothes. I brought a black Prada nylon on holiday to Rome last year, and it was great.

I can't think of a color that can't be worn year-round, but I think there are textures that are more seasonal (eg, tweed, wool, etc)

Yes, indeedy!! No question about it. I would wear black, and then the next day switch over to white, or whatever.

I wear my black purses year 'round. I have no rules when it comes to a black
purse/outfit. Though, light/pastel colors are Spring/Summer colors to me. But,
if I own one, I'd probably use it year 'round as well.

I agree. Black is never seasonal, but fabrics are.
