Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

Of course...I think black can be worn anywhere, anytime. Most of my bags are black, only because they seem to match pretty much any outfit.

I think you can totally wear black bags in the spring/summer and all year round... black is a color where you can wear w/anything and everything! I opt to go for more colored bags though than just black in the spring/summer just because I get that feeling to wear more brighter colors!

Sure you can. IMO for the summer/spring daytime hours, I like carrying lighter colors.

I do sometimes,but for the most part, I use colorful bags. That makes me happy.

Yes you can!! Case in point right here, LOL. 99% of my bags are black or choco brown and with the exception of a few (such as my Felix Rey straw tote), I carry them year 'round.

You can get away with that in this part of the country. When I've been in southern climes (s. Florida, for example) and am wearing black I feel a little 'heavy.'

I love color, but I work in S.F. and find that I gravitate towards Black mostly out of convenience. I do have some color and I think I'll try and focus on those bags some this Spring because it does add a nice pop to suits.

I was planning to bring my black Balenciaga City on holiday this year. But then I started wondering if I should carry a brighter colour bag. Last year I brought my Marc Jacobs green canvas and leather bag. It has a really cheerful, hot pink lining. But now I have a black City I've grown very attached to....literally! What do you ladies like best during the summer?

I don't know why, but I tend to stay away from black during the summer months. And here in Florida, it's summer most of the time! Colorful bags just seem to go better with my clothing in the summer.

I have hot tropical weather all year round and carry bags based on how they complement the outfit.
