Can you wear a black purse in the Spring/Summer?

I live near San Francisco and black is very year round here. I just ordered a BE Stroke Me in Black Crash so will definately be rockin' that this summer!

I hardly ever carry black, brown is my black, but if I did, I would carry whatever looked right at the time. Whether it's black, brown, white or colors it's whatever you feel.

Hmmm maybe I should have bought that lovely brown Miu Miu bow tie bag... Brown is truly a year round color. Oh well....

If I need to use a black bag in the summer, it is patent leather and I tie a colorful scarf on it. If I can use a colorful bag instead I will, but sometimes functionality or dress dictates that I use one of my black bags.

I have been carrying black or brown bags almost the whole winter....I am definitely ready for some bright summer colors! But again, wear whatever you like, if you love your balenciaga, just carry it to show your love!

Same here. I like to do colorful bags too, but I am okay w/ a dark bag in the summer though.

Definitely! I only have a few bags that are season specific, otherwise I like to use most of my bags year round including the black ones.

I've been meaning to get a black bag, but I still don't have one! I only have 1 brown bag (Bryant Satchel)- the rest are a motley assortment of color, lagoon, ruby red, blush (peachy pink), chalk/white, bark/orangey tan, bronze, etc.

For summer, i'd personally go with something more fun.

In the summer I tend to carry bright colored handbags like green, yellow, orange. Afterall, it's summer and nothing screams summer like color -- kinda like seeing flowers in all the hues of the rainbow! In the summer its ooodles and ooodles of color!

This is what comes of having several bags! I am now thoroughly confused because I also have a Marni Balloon bag I'm not sure whether I like or not. I can see myself trailing several bags with me to France in another month or so. And this is the year when I planned to travel light. Ah, well! Good to get all your views, ladies!
