I -just- got my fluorescent yellow 13" satchel last week, after waiting 35ish days for production. It was definitely worth the wait! I've worn it twice so far, and have received a number of compliments from strangers on the street.

Although the neon satchels probably won't be trendy for more than another season or two, I have a soft spot for highlighter yellow/green colors, so I'll always love it I'd say that the more traditional black, brown, or even green, should last for years to come.

I have the largest size in the same color and adore it to pieces!! I scored mine through Bohemia.com in the UK and there was no wait and their CS was spot on. I was nervous buying abroad but I could pay through PP and a few days later my bag appeared. I've had mine for months now and I also get tons of compliments every time I carry it and I've found it makes a wonderful laptop bag for my MacAir since the leather is so sturdy. I plan on getting a few in other colors once my budget is not going toward other things

Ooh, the large size looks great! If I had the 13" Macbook or Macbook Air, I definitely would have gotten a larger size. I love spreading the word (and love) about Cambridge Satchel Co bags

It's going to cost you a fortune to have your whole name embossed. On one of the batchels, that I ordered for one of the young kids in my extended family, I had only two initials embossed. Plus it's the same initials of two siblings in the same family, so both will be able to share it.

As for the one that I ordered for myself, I had "Cool" embossed. So, when people see it on my back, it will bring a smile.

I like them...very much my style. I think the design itself is classic, but now you see them in unconventional bright colors, which gives it an edge. They look a little like messenger bags.

How long did it take your order to arrive from Bohemia? I am going on vacation in 10 days (which is how long they quote international shipping) and I'd like to have the bag for the trip. I'm in the US...

It took about two weeks all in. I called and spoke to a lovely woman who told me they were a bit backed up at the time from all the orders they were receiving. I would call and confirm the shipping time and explain you'd like to have it for your trip and I'm sure they could process it faster for you

I got my bag and extremely disappointed. There are loads of scratches inside the bags. The company told me it's natural. I terribly regret buying it!

By the way, Cambridge Satchel company is so swamped with orders that it's backlogged quite a bit. I ordered two, 15-inch satchels back in mid August and just got a long e-mail of apology from them today saying that it'll be another 2-3 weeks before they're shipped out.

My 11" Marine Satchel arrived from Bohemia Designs on Wednesday. It took about a week and a half to arrive after ordering (from UK to US). I am quite happy with it. I bought it for my upcoming vacation, and it holds what I need it to... A couple of diapers and wipes for DS, bag of snacks, my phone, mini wallet, and camera.

Im struggling to order from them or not coz of the long wait!
Went to their facebook page and people have been waiting for around 3 months and yet nothing!

Do you think it will be faster if i did not customize it?

I think it is either made by Cambridge or the Leather Satchel Company http://the.leathersatchel.co/, because they say their satchels are made by the same British family owned company that has been making satchels since the '60s.

I am thinking about ordering a chocolate brown satchel from The Leather Satchel company because of the way they describe that particular leather on their website. It sounds like it will age really well.

Here is a picture of my actual bag. I had a hard time getting a good photo because it is raining here and the lighting is horrible.
