Ah see my iPad has a case, not an overly thick case but must have been just enough to stop it fitting properly. Still I wouldn't want it in there without one then put other stuff in. Just too tight a fit.
I already did sell it because I didn't use it. Way too small to be practical. Also got rid of the 15" because I didn't use it.

Yes I understand! Well, the CS is not the common bag to carry your everyday things, unless you have very few things!
I usually have giant bags for an everyday use but I still think CS is fantastic!
And sometimes it is not that bad to improve your skills in reducing your stuff! (I was a master at tetris, I admit it).

If you just don't want to play tetris every morning, go for bigger bags... and put the CS into it. I usually do, so I can take a break from work and have a coffee or a meeting without carrying cell and cigarettes in my hands :-)

I would like to know if the girl who asked for a CS will go for it or not!

Does anyone know if CSCo have a sale? I've been looking at the Fluoro Yellow/Pink for a while but don't want to buy full price if i can help it ;)

Not sure about the clearance ones - don't like the thought of having a 'flawed' one. Esp a there are no images...not quite sure what you're getting.

Hi all! I'm debating if the 14 inch Cambridge satchel would be too big for my frame? I'm 1.59m and weigh around 47kg.

How do you ladies find the leather? Is it very hard and stiff? The train I usually commute on is quite crowded in the mornings, will it be difficult to carry it around?

Do you have any modeling pics to share for a 14inch? Thanks! :smile1:

Bump!

Hello everyone. Deciding on my first cambridge satchel in either patent navy or matte vintage brown (tan) in the 13".

The navy patent is on sale and for owners of the patent leather is it a finger print magnet?? That would steer me away since I would have to constantly wipe it down. Thoughts? Thanks!

I am a bit thicker than you at about 49-50 kilos and shorter at 1.58

And I love my 13" but it's too small for everyday use

The leather is hard and stiff. I have never had such a stuff bag in my life. But that's how this is supposed to be!! Carrying it around is no big deal. I find the opening and closing a bit painful especially if u want to keep your cell phone inside.

Cambridge Satchels are sold at Bloomingdales in the US. They did have the fluorescent (neon) pink. I would check with them as there may just be sold out and it icould be on back order.

Yes they do or were selling them at bloomies. I bought the exact same one for my daughter. She loves the pink! We have 3 between the 2 of us. Lol

The 13 inch is perfect for that stuff. And the leather stretches out a bit over time too. The 11 inch would be too tiny. I feel anything larger than the 13 gets too heavy to carry on the shoulders and uncomfy cross body. Hth.

Good luck with that one. My kids and hubby got me the white one for Mother's Day last year and she is my summer spring bag. My list was - purple - red - and white. :-)

Thanks for the reply! Yes, am concerned about the buckle straps as my cell phone is usually deposited in the bag. hmmm~

Would a 13 inch fit a small umbrella, tissues, phone, a novel and 2 wallets? Thanks!
