My husband had mine done by Cambridge when he ordered it and it showed up fairly quickly - even through the holiday rush. :) I do think if you take it to a leather shop that does embossing they would easily have your initials stamped on the bag.

Hi! I got the cobalt satchel. The inside isn't dyed, so there is no color transfer to any of the items I put in there. As for color transfer on the outside, I haven't experienced that either. I have carried it out in the rain, worn it with jeans, and with white/light clothing and have not had any color transfer. The red may be different just in how the dyes are created and applied.

thanks so much for your reply! that is my biggest concern with the red bag because the red is dyed red inside as well and i think that is where the color transfer may come into play. maybe i will look into other colors... :smile1:

It's here!! My daughters satchel is here for school. It took one month from date of order to our door and wow she is lovely!!!

Of course she loves. She picked the colors. And I did have her initials blind embossed on her bag. :-).

Oh and just to add it is actually the perfect size for her folders, notebooks and a workbook which she uses. She carries a separate bag for her lunch. Before when I used to put it in all one back pack she would tip over or it was too big and awkward for her to carry.

VERY nice!!! I know when I was younger my dad looked for a bag like this for me to carry to school.

Congrats to your little one on such an awesome bag! Hopefully it will last her a very long time :)

Really? How cool. I would have loved one of these in school. I hope it lasts her for a long while too! She picked a nice classic color! :-)
