I recently starting really liking this bag. I think I want the yellow 14" or 15" inch one, but I'm not sure if it will overwhelm my petite frame. I'm 5' and I don't want the bag to swallow me up. I was considering the 15" so that my 13" macbook would fit. Does anyone know if the 13" macbook would fit into the 14" satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company?

orchidian, your best bet is to bring your Mac to the store. that's what I diforwent I was looking for a bag for my
17" Mac.

i just discovered the cambridge satchel and have kind of fallen in love. i want to know if it is really worth the purchase as i read a review that someone had a lot of problems with color transfer on the purses on contents, as well as on their clothes, from the red leather. has anyone else experienced this?

I have a 13" Macbook and a 14" satchel, and also a 15" batchel. The Macbook does fit inside the 14" but I think it would be a very tight fit if I had it in its neoprene case. It fits in the 15" very easily and I can get a lot of other stuff in there too. Visually, the size difference between 15" and 14" is very little, you can hardly tell them apart. It really depends if you want to hold your Macbook and a lot of other stuff in the bag or not.

I have the 11" cambridge in the blue but I've decided to sell it on Ebay. Still has the tags. Its a gorgeous color but I'm just too picky and always trying to be matchy matchy. Wish me luck girls!
