It looks very similar, except it has a nametag window on the front between the buckles. No idea how the quality compares with CS, but I've had a few Scaramanga bags over the years and they've all been really good quality.

Steve madden and Kate spade have/had something similar. but yours is much PRETTIER! I love red!!!!

I hate to sound like a snob but in terms of quality I still think Cambridge has the lead amongst the rest. I've bought a few myself to compare so I can say this (Bohemia, the leather satchel company and zatchels). Although, some aren't fans of zatchels because of the stitch vs the indentation on the front flap but the leather is ultra thick (even more so that Cambridge) and the craftsmanship is very good too. They may not be as hip as Cambridge in terms of style but they still make good quality satchels.

Also, with regards to what TejasMama said, I have a very old (year and a half probably) black 15" batchel I would be more than happy explaining its condition with photos after a lot of (probably too heavy) use. The review in the link is, IMO, very accurate. My leather has however, softened up a lot more with use and seems very very soft in comparison with my brand new satchel. Mine also hasn't got much of the shiny coating left on the underside of the strap and the inside of the bag, it looks more like regular suede now.

hey just wondering, as Ive just received a bag with 3 holes only half-punched. What did they tell you to do?

I read on Cambridge's FB page that they're having a clearance in August (just 2 days but I forget which) of up to 60% off - just not sure if its only in store which would be tough for most of us...anyone know more about this?

You can email them to ask, but best bet is to call up if you can as you get to speak to someone immediately. They asked me to return the bag, which I did (via special delivery next day). They said they would 'assess' and refund postage if they deemed there was a fault, which there obviously was. I sent them via email a scan of postage price which they refunded. They sent me a replacement bag. They might repair it for you if they can but I would insist on a replacement if I were you as a repair would take even longer. The whole process took quite a while but they did sort it out in the end. Email replies are so slow though, it's much better to phone.

I have just visited their website and clicked on " clearance".
They have lots of bags in all sizes and colours. Those bags have small defects and they explain what they are for each of them...The prices start at £50.

What they don't tell you is that the bags have a lot of undisclosed flaws, which they fail to tell you about even if you ask. I highly recommend staying away from the clearance section.

I recently starting really liking this bag. I think I want the yellow 14" or 15" inch one, but I'm not sure if it will overwhelm my petite frame. I'm 5' and I don't want the bag to swallow me up. I was considering the 15" so that my 13" macbook would fit. Does anyone know if the 13" macbook would fit into the 14" satchel from the Cambridge Satchel Company?
