Just got the 11" fluoro, what are you all with the lighter color bags using to protect it? I wear a lot of dark denim so I'd like to keep the dark color from transferring onto the bag as much as possible. Think Lexol would be ok to use?

I don't put anything on my satchels and with all my lighter bags I just try not to wear the dark wash jeans. I go dark with the darker ones and light with the lighter ones..thats my rule and it works for me. If that doesn't work for you then I'm sure someone on this forum can suggest something else that might work...like Lexol...I myself couldn't tell you :)

Recently started doing professional photography and have bought and returned about 6 DSLR bags, then had the brainwave of using my cambridge satchel. It is much more solid than regular DSLR bags and big enough to fit everything in it. I have individual bags for lenses and the camera body which all slot in perfectly. I tried it out yesterday with the camera body and two lenses and my purse, and used the front pocket for filters.

Hopefully this is an excuse to buy another...

Very nice! Great idea. Isn't that great when something you already have turns out to be so useful and then you really fall in love with it?

So I am thinking about getting a satchel backpack for my 7 year old for school. She will be 8 in 5 months. She is going into second grade and i am sick of bookbags breaking on us.

What size would be good - the 14 Inchon the15 inch with handle? I don't want it to be too large but I also like the idea of a handle. Any thoughts please? Thanks!! :).

Check the weight. They are not as light as ordinary backpacks.
