Has anyone put any kind of leather protector spray or other on their bags?

Also thought this was funny, it's the Alex Toys So Cool Satchel for kids but it might be a good low budget option!

I use the spray collonil waterstop. Word of warning do waterproof them as rain ruins them! Before I sprayed my purple one it got wet and on the bottom of flap the leather raised and bubbled. For this reason I won't buy another one! In fact I don't use mine and was considering putting it on eBay,

i have been having trouble paying for my cambridge satchel through worldpay. has anyone else had this problem? i am from the us.

if all else fails, i was planning on ordering from shopbop but i really wanted my initials embossed. does anyone know where i can get my bag embossed in nyc?

I just got the last 11" Neon Pink one from Bohemia!! I have been drooling over these for a long time and am so happy to be able to get one! I also used the 10% coupon code for signing up with their newsletter! So excited to receive it!!

Yay! It was just shipped today!! Wow they are fast! :woohoo:

Congrats! :yahoo: I luv Bohemia and yes they are very fast! Oh and great customer service too! I have a green and pink neon satchel from them plus a larger burnt orange batchel. The camel 12.5" is already starting to split a little where it buckles but I used it for almost two straight weeks so I guess eventually if you buckle and unbuckle alot the leather will start to wear. Thats the only bad thing about these bags. I might order the yellow and orange neons but I have my eye on an orange cambridge on ebay so might just get the yellow from them. We shall see!

I would contact Bohemia about the splitting issue. It should certainly hold up to 2 weeks of use. All your satchels are lovely BTW.

I don't know but I really wonder whether these bags really need that added protection given the slick texture of the leather. Seems to me like the water will just roll right off, no?

I've had no problem with my backpack batchel. I use it every day at work. I ordered it in August 2011 and received it in November 2011.

Today we had an April downpour, here in L.A., and I got caught up in it with my backpack batchel on my back and getting soaked and no problems. The same happened some months ago and no problems.

It's also held up fine in the heat as I have left it in my car when it was in the high 80s and it hasn't melted or changed shapes. I'm more concerned about extreme heat than water. We'll see how it holds up, in summer/fall, when it's 85-115 degrees out.
