I ordered my 15-inch backpack batchel in August 2011 and received it in November 2011 and didn't pay any tax on it. It was Fed Ex'ed directly to me.

As for the quality, I'm totally satisfied with mine and have used it everyday to work since I received it. I carry heavy books and lots of paperwork in it and it's still in one piece.

Look what just arrived today..... Like all of us, I had the most difficult time settling on a color, but I'm *in love* with this orange! I'll likely get it embossed at some point, but thought I'd wait a season to make sure the fluro trend would still stick around and I'll keep it longer than this summer. :-)

Really bummed cause I'm in Paris yet Printemps who was carrying Cambridge is totally sold out :( I'll be checking in Madrid next so hope to have more luck cause I really wanted the fluro yellow next and was hoping to save some time and shipping :) wish me luck!

I had lost interest in buying purses for a loooong time, but these neon bags called to me. I love it, I love it, I love it.

I hope this photo provides some reference for size (eew, my mirror needs cleaning). I am a little over 5'9" and the strap is at its longest. It doesn't fit a whole lot, but it was good to scale back what I carry. Also, I kind of enjoy doing and undoing the old-school buckles. Another odd thing, I've had this thing only a week and I've had 3 strangers compliment me on it. One asked to touch it. Never happened to me before.

Has anyone put any kind of leather protector spray or other on their bags?


Also thought this was funny, it's the Alex Toys So Cool Satchel for kids but it might be a good low budget option!

I have a retrosatchel.com satchel and the leather is not so stiff, it's wonderful and easy to carry around!
