I was afraid to use it when I first got it since it's white. I finally did after couple of weeks of just admiring it in the box. I wipe it down if I see any dirt or any smudges on it. Majority of my bags have inserts in it too. It's probably been close to 9-10months or maybe closer to a year now and it's holding up pretty well. I don't carry any pens, eye liners in my bags since there could be chance it could damage it. I learned my lesson years ago when a pen in my bag leaked.
Oh that's good to know that it's holding up well. Is this Calvi your daily Calvi?

What do people use their calvi’s for in general? Do you keep your credit cards and id in them? Business cards? My SA is holding one for me that she thought I’d like but I’m not sure it’s something I’d actually use. (Never seen one irl)
I use a compact bearn for my frequently used cards and cash (I prefer to not have to roll up $$)

The calvi is great for my gift cards or merchandise credits that I don’t store in my main wallet but still like to have with me. I usually have my calvi and bastia along for the ride, with my main wallet.

I just bought a black Calvi card holder and I haven't used it yet lol...is it worth it to keep it? I see people say that love it than some say no because the card slip out. Need some thoughts if I should keep it or not.
When I got my calvi I originally got it because it just seemed like the thing I “had to have” but I didn’t know what exactly to do with it. I love using it as a place to put all my gift cards that I would normally place inside a drawer and not have on me when needed. Now I always have my calvi on me with those cards so if I happen to be in one of those stores, the gift card or store credit is on me!

There’s an old thread for that but unfortunately not very active and filled with Bastia

Here it is: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/show-me-your-creative-uses-for-calvi-and-bastia-slgs.962334/

I don’t like Calvi but Calvi duo is my wallet now. A few cards, bills at the back and coins for supermarket trolley in the coin compartment, I am all set.

Just passed up a box duo calvi because I wanted the pretty color of the chèvre calvi but oml I cannot stop thinking of the box duo. I literally carry 4 cards and maybe a $20 so the duo seemed silly. But box is so so so gorgeous!
Maybe give a box calvi a try. I recently got a box calvi in Rouge H. I have a gold calvi duo in epsom that I use everyday for cash, business cards, odds and ends. This calvi will house my CCs and membership cards. The box is indeed gorgeous!

I ended up getting a rouge calvi chevre with pink on the inside and I asked my SA to look out for a box leather calvi or duo in a pretty color.
I bet that verso calvi looks amazing. As for box calvi, I have only seen it in 3 colors, black, a midnight blue (really really dark blue hue) and the rough H. I would love to see what other colors it comes in. If you ever come across one, please do share pics.

I love box but they are so hard to find. I’ve tried on three trips to Paris with no luck, even when I got a bag! I will keep my eye out!

Depending on where you are located, the US website has a blue box Calvi and i have seen the black as well as the Rough H ones from time to time. If you visit your SA in person, he/she can place an online order on your behalf for one of these. Good luck!
