Hi I just chanced upon ‘luxurybagshunter’. Any idea about it? I am concerned that she may be a scammer as not only are the prices of her items very attractive, she avoids revealing too much info. Am
tempted to buy from her but thought I should check here.

I enquired about a bag from luxurybaghunter before and felt she was extremely persistent but yet didn’t want to reveal too much info and pictures. Not a nice experience and not comfortable to deal with her

Thanks pinkydots for feedback. I have the same feeling as you. Just uncomfortable. Can’t put a finger to it. But she has many rare items available! Guess better be safe than sorry.

PLEASE DONT FALL FOR HER SCAM!!! I WAS JUST SCAMMED. And I'm sooo upset really. Trying so hard to get my money back. I made a police report and the police tell me she and her instagram account has been reported before and they have had case in Malaysia for scamming.....

A few weeks ago I contacted her about a bag but she told me it was sold. She contacted me last week and asked if I’m still interested. After going through the whole process of her sending me pictures and I agreed on the price I asked her to send me an invoice. When I was ready to pay and click on the invoice, it shows up as a draft receipt instead of the actual PayPal invoice. Weird thing is it was sent by her email and not by PayPal. The invoice didn’t show up when I logged on PayPal either. Long story short I asked if she can hold the bag for me so I can call PayPal the following morning and she disappeared.
What was your story? Did you pay her via PayPal?

Instagram personal shoppers can often source specific new items, because they have global SA contacts. For example, I reached out to the shopper I work with a lot because I wanted a certain pair of chanel shoes, and she was able to find them in less than 24 hours. It's really helpful right now, obviously, too with the store closures. I can't speak as well to instagram consigners because I haven't purchased from any but I do follow several on instagram and they often have unicorns and good prices.

I can only say that she is a true scammer. I regret my choice deeply to transfer my funds to her bank account. She posted a Chanel small pink vanity on her story and the next story she said ‘sold’. I asked if it’s still available and she said yes one left so I asked the price, condition, when can it be shipped etc. After looking through all her reviews which I’m sure she fabricated I decided to go ahead. I just don’t know why it didn’t hit me that I shouldn’t have paid via bank transfer. She sent me a bank account number and I immediately transferred. She said she received the funds and later on came back to me and said I’ve transferred to a wrong account. She became more and more aggressive, calling me names like stupid goat head, can’t take my stupidity anymore.
She even said I didn’t incur any cost and why am I scared to go to the police station to lodge a case. As you know with the current coronavirus situation it’s just a hassle. Anyway I had to go to 2 police stations to lodge and I was told she has already been reported to the police before. And the other victims have transferred funds to other bank accounts with different names. This whole thing is just like a scam group.

I honestly have no idea how to get my money back and I’m so heartbroken. I hope nobody ever buys from luxculture_my. Her name that I know of is grace lam chooi foong.
