Why do IG sellers do that? They never want to share the breakdown, like I don’t understand why not? I as a buyer have the right to know.... If I do the math I can figure out how much extra I’m paying so why not just say it?

Hi, just bought something from coco_approved shipping to Canada! Also just received an email from DHL requesting duty/custom payment for the package. This is my first time buying something coming from HK, did anyone have similar experiences?

Maybe she forgot to reply to my dm I don't know ... and it might be because they are afraid of the reaction of their customers

I would highly recommend Orchmelia & Dearluxe. I’ve purchased 2 handbags, one was based in the US but was charged import fee and the other was in HK, no charge. I’m in the UK so both bag were priced lower than retail here. Both sellers were prompt to respond to messages but the US one did take awhile to deliver due to delivery service used or shortage of inventory? I’m very happy with my purchases.

Never purchased from them but plan to in the future. Do you mind sharing what the duties cost? I’m also in Canada and wondering if it’s best to buy locally, despite coco appoved’s good prices
